Thanks for the vote
How much does Strava cost?
Strava has several in-app purchases/subscriptions, the average in-app price is 99.00 kr.
Det er en bra app.
Uansett, hvorfor står det ikke "Has In App Purchases" under last ned knappen når man søker strava?? Har strava faktisk betalt så folk tror det er helt gratis??
Men heldigvis er gratis-versjonen bra for nå, men det kan kanskje endre seg takket være Mapbox og Apple som koster jwl mye penger for developerne :(
Serious privacy concerns
Looking at the data linked to me give me serious anxiety.
I would like to use the app but just can’t justify this. I work in tech, I know this is not a technical requirement.
strava going woke
delete the non binary option guys cmon ;)
No longer worth it
The only real value in Strava is the segments, and that value is only because of the other people using it, not anything Strava itself adds. To charge 799 NOK per year for segments? Nah. I’ll pass. 589 was okay, but for an app that seems satisfied with being stuck offering little more of value than segments, I’m not going to fork over more money. The app is unusable for downloading, uploading, or just using, routes and segments, which one would think would be the major area of focus of Strava to make easy to use, since it’s more of a social network platform for sports than it’s a training analysis app. On Garmin I can easily download and upload routes. It seems Strava is so aware that all it has to offer is segments, that it holds them in an iron grip, not letting you get them except 100% within the app, not even being able to use them as routes. I would like to download routes others have put on Strava to my watch so that I can run them. But no. In total, for an app that more or less only offers post-run comparisons on segments/routes, not allowing the actual use of them, 799 NOK is nowhere near worth it anymore. Also, no dark mode.
2024 +35% price increase is way out of line!
Just got the announcement of the subscription fee increase from 23 to 24!
+35%!!!!!!!
Ok, so I love the app and will probably continue the subscription, but I would like to know what Strava sees as required drivers for an increase that by far exceeds any CPI or real cost increase in the period. No kudos for this one!!

App works well but widgets are buggy
I have been using Strava for over a decade and it is still a favourite. Unfortunately they have grown too big to be able to support their customers properly. Every interaction feels like they are trying to brush you off.
Mac OS widgets are not synching properly but any attempt to notify them of these bugs, with documentation, is rewarded by automated responses with timeouts and no actual feedback or action.
Renew? Not happening.
I was about to renew when I saw the new price. Not happening anytime soon. From 5 to 1 star in a second. And I know you are probably going to comment on how long the price has been fixed, and all you have done etc. Which is all good, but it is. Simply. Too. Expensive.
