Great app but crashes a lot
I love the Strength app, there’s a lot of variety and something for everyone however I do find it crashes a lot and the app closes so it never records my full workout.

I love the Strength app, there’s a lot of variety and something for everyone however I do find it crashes a lot and the app closes so it never records my full workout.
This is my second time subscribing to the Slay app. I really love Mari and the workouts however the app crashes during the workout so the timer resets and data doesn’t always save. It isn’t a huge problem but annoying nevertheless.
I wish I had seen more of the app before purchasing - it’s a good app if you are looking for pre-planned workouts, however one of the issues I found was when I tried switching out exercises - instead of doing a straight switch for like-for-like body parts, it allows you to choose any exercise across all body parts (bit pointless as it’s broken down by leg, glutes, upper bod etc). The exercises are quite basic even for Level 3 - I was expecting to be wowed and I just wasn’t. If you’re new to exercising and lifting weights, this is a good app to get started with; however if you are more experienced and looking for diversification, you’ll be disappointed.
The content of the app is good but it crashes constantly which means you lose progress during a workout. I have cancelled my subscription.
My favourite thing about this app is that it doesn’t track the days, just your physical progress which is such a healthy perspective as it helps you to choose to work out because you want to feel good
I’ve followed Mari before she developed this app. She’s total goals! Keeping up is always hard but so worth it
The app is great and I love the content but it does crash multiple times when I’m using it….a little bit annoying when you’re working out. When I initially open it/play one of the videos, it stops my music playing in Spotify - this does seem to stop after turning Spotify back on. Would be good to get some guidance on what weight to use and when to increase. Also, guidance in when you should think about increasing levels
Absolutely love this app! It tells you exactly what to do and how to do it. You can choose whatever level you want to try and the video will show you how to do it. It just doesn’t get better then that!!!
Loving the slay app and the exercise programmes, the video demonstrations are fab, better than any PDFS. I would like to see more of a food log that we could link to our exercise programme, maybe a way of calculating and tracking macros would be beneficial as I’m currently using two apps. To have everything under one app would be brill and also move my rating to 5 stars!
Paid for a yearly subscription to Slay and was really exited to start. However, I cannot login to the app as it keeps telling me the credentials aren’t correct, even though they are. Have reset password a couple of times, followed all of the recommended troubleshooting steps and still cannot access the app. It is proving impossible to reach the customer services for Slay. The link in the website takes you to a page that doesn’t exist and no response at all from Instagram DM. I have paid for a service which I am not getting.
