Sync - Secure cloud storage

Al principio iba fatal, pero después de algunas actualizaciones ya va muchísimo mejor. Enhorabuena

I have tested following End-2-End encryption cloud drivers: Sync, Proton Drive, Zoho Workdrive, Icedrive, Tresorit, pCloud & Mega (iCloud works anyway), and the only ones who actually work in my iPad Pro and integrate with iPadOS Files manager sind Proton Drive and Mega, the rest go from terrible to not working at all, and Sync does not work at all. pCloud is kind of a joke, they sell it as a End-2-End solution but actually the standard drive is not encrypted but an extra Vault inside. Icedrive is super slow in Development, Proton Drive does not have a search function as absolutely everything gets encrypted but otherwise it works pretty well. The best and most profesional End-2-End encrypted cloud drive software and best price is Mega with a big distance to the rest. I wish you good luck.

El tema seguridad está muy bien. El servicio de atención también, pero hace años aún se podía ver alguna foto jpeg en la app, ahora es imposible, solo ves iconos. Es lamentable que tras tantas actualizaciones aún no se haya solucionado esto, pues no sirve de nada ver iconos de fotos. Yo utilizo Sync para guardar mis fotos, pero si quiero compartir algo es mejor hacerlo desde el ordenador. Es incomprensible que fotos jpeg que no pesan ni 1 MB no se abran en la app. Dropbox incluso lee formato RAW. Le queda mucho por mejorar a Sync. Una pena.

Sobre el papel, el servicio es más seguro que Dropbox. El cifrado extremo a extremo permite que ni los propios empleados de Sync tengan acceso a tus datos (cosa que sí es posible en otros servicios) Que la velocidad de sincronización sea algo más lenta es de esperar: tu dispositivo tiene que cifrar los datos antes de enviarlos y descifrarlo al recibirlos, por lo que ese tiempo se añade al de transmisión (y ese consumo de batería, ojo, aunque si lo que buscas es privacidad es un dato que no te importará tanto) Dicho lo anterior, la app “canta” a distancia que se trata de una aplicación html para reutilizar el mismo desarrollo en distintas plataformas. No es mala, pero en mi opinión no está a la altura de un servicio de pago. Por poner un ejemplo, la app de NextCloud, que es un software libre para hacer lo mismo, es casi mejor.

Desde hace 2 semanas o así no me funciona. Estaba buscando una alternativa a Google drive y Sync había sido mi primera opción, también porque en OSX va muy bien, pero tendré que mirar a otro lado.

Por fin la versión 2 incluye la opción de desbloquear la aplicación con Touch ID !!

Wow, this is a big improvement over other cloud storage, especially those with the word box in their name. It’s simple and clean. No pop up’s flying in your face when you open the app. No confusion. Just simple, elegant, easy to use storage.

Would give 5 star but for someone who adds a lot my own tracks with similar names. Please make it easier to see what you just uploaded.
