Sync - Secure cloud storage

Does exactly what’s is supposed to do. Simple interface,,uncluttered

Only cloud storage option that isn’t snooping or selling your data.

Love the end to end encrypted storage, but the iOS app needs serious work. When adding files within the app you can only add one at a time. When sharing batches of files to the app from photos or the files apps, it crashes and/or misses uploading some of them. I’m constantly going back to verify if all the files I wanted to upload actually got upload, which is not what I want for file storage. Staying with it for now because I really want to support a file sharing company that cares about privacy, but please fix the iOS app before I get so frustrated that I leave 😕

The sync service in general, whether the mobile apps, desktop, or browser, frequently behaves in a way that secretly doesn’t sync fully, takes dozens of refreshes to show your changes, gives you incorrect info in the ‘progress’ window, shows you incorrect and/or duplicate file data, and does most things at a snail’s pace. It seems to be terrible at its primary function, which is to reliably and effectively SYNC, so that you can have peace of mind. I’ve gone back and forth with Customer Service and they do try to help, but everything is about what’s on my end. Sync, it’s not me, it’s you. Decades of using other services and I never experienced these kinds of issues with simply “backing up a file”. Your service is not properly tested which is why you struggle to reproduce and fix these issues that should be obvious. I can’t believe I paid for this.

Great app. But the interface to access file can be quite slow.
