Description

Tally is the first automated debt manager. Tally makes it easier to save money, manage credit cards and pay down balances faster. Tally’s lower-interest credit line has helped thousands of people consolidate credit card payments into a single bill and save on interest and late fees!

Sign up for Tally and quickly see if you’re eligible for a credit line. Our credit check won’t impact your credit score.

Tally is available in most states except MT, NV, and WV. Generally, you need a FICO Score of 680 or higher to qualify for a credit line. (Scroll down to see which credit cards Tally supports.)

Here’s how it works:

1. Download Tally
Within minutes, Tally can help you start the path to being debt-free, and it won’t hurt your credit score.

2. Find your savings
Once you qualify, Tally gives you a line of credit with a low annual percentage rate (APR). Tally then uses the new line of credit to pay your credit cards every month. The low APR helps save you money on interest. (Scroll down for important disclosures about what Tally charges.)

3. Organize your cards
Manage all your credit cards in one simple app! Tally keeps track of the balances, interest rates and due dates for each card. That’s how Tally makes the right payment to the right card at the right time. All you have to do is make one monthly payment to Tally.

4. Say goodbye to late fees
Tally’s late fee protection gives you the peace of mind of autopay without the fear of overdraft. As long as you’re in good standing with Tally, you’ll avoid the hassle of late fees.

5. Be debt-free faster
That’s it! Tally helps separate the burden of credit cards from the benefits. Keep using your credit cards for the rewards and let Tally handle the hard work. No tricks. Just a smarter way to manage your cards and a faster way to pay your balances.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What does Tally charge?
To get the benefits of Tally, you must qualify for and accept a Tally line of credit. Depending on your credit history, your APR will be between 7.9% and 29.9% per year. The APR will vary with the market based on the Prime Rate. Some credit lines are subject to an annual fee, which will be explained with your offer if you qualify.

How does Tally estimate my savings?
To calculate your savings we look at: 1) an average-weighted APR based on your initial eligible credit card balances and APR’s; 2) an average monthly payment to Tally of 3% of your eligible balances; and 3) an average monthly spend of 0.8% of your eligible credit card balances. We exclude credit cards with APR’s lower than the Tally APR, since Tally doesn’t make payments to those cards. For the Express member savings estimate, we assume you receive the Express discount every month.

How does Tally save me money?
You can save money with a lower APR on your Tally line of credit. That means you’re saving money on credit card interest each month. Tally’s late fee protection helps you avoid missed payments.

How does Tally make money?
Tally makes money through interest on your Tally line of credit, but only if Tally can help save you money. Tally also makes money on membership fees (annual or monthly fee) according to the Tally service you are eligible for.

I’ve been using them since 2022 but it feels like they have been using me. It’s 2024- nothing is paid down or off. I don’t know what they are doing for me. I’m still paying my credit card bills and I don’t know what they are doing besides taking $165 a mo for what? IDK? I tried to cancel and they wouldn’t let me. Beware - they are basically another credit card company that wants to take advantage of you and never respond to your questions.

App won’t advance past email verification screen

cactus_galaxy on

I have tried to create an account because I want to try this app. But the app won’t advance past the email verification screen during the account setup. I’ve hit the verification email button multiple times and it takes me back to the same app screen as if I never hit it. Deleted the app and redownloaded it, same problem. Can’t use at all unless that gets fixed.

Watch your notifications and emails!!

This app will randomly unlink your cards and stop doing it the “$10” extra payment even when it’s activated. If you don’t check the app often or pay attention to their emails you will suddenly be buried in late fees for your credits cards cause they unlinked your card. They’ve failed me / unlinked me on several occasions and won’t accept some credit cards to pay off, like Merrick.

Bad idea, but app is great

Again, no issues with the app interface or anything like that. Payments are made and received correctly, support is helpful, credit was applied quickly. Only problem is it that it drove me further into debt 😭 after my experience with tally i would never recommend anyone do this unless they completely plan to stop using credit cards, and even then i wouldn’t. Interest right now is around 17% so not much savings there, started at around 6% and kept climbing. Just pay your debts off and avoid taking more on to do it. Common sense finances learned the hard way.

Don’t do it.

Update: they reached out to me saying if I wanted to pay via check, I could send a check to address listed in the response. I already did this PRIOR to submitting my review, and was told to do the same by customer service. I sent the check, with tracking, following the exact instructions by Tally customer service. They never cashed my check. They never applied it to my account. Don’t. Use. Tally. Don’t use this app, you’ll be stuck paying them off forever. They will only let you pay in the app, despite you contacting them directly and asking to send in a check to pay off your balance in full. The fees and interest will pile up despite you paying your balance down every month. It’s awful.

They never check your credit and instantly lie to you

They never pulled my credit and falsely claimed they couldn’t verify me.

Terrible company. I have been with tally for nearly 2 years and without warning I get an email stating they would no longer be paying my credit cards. Now they are giving me a hard time about changing bank accounts. I no longer want them to link to my bank but they won’t take a debit card as payment!!! Do you want my money or not???

Awful. Had trouble linking my card, they told me to try again in a few days. Still didn’t work and gave me attitude when I reached out again. Then they said they would no longer make payments to my card I did have linked even though I didn’t have it set up to make payments. Now I can’t even login to my account to make sure they aren’t scamming me somehow.

Stay away!

Just like everyone else on here - my credit line was shut down with no notice leaving me on the hook for multiple cards and Tally’s new high interest balance. Ended up on in a bigger hole than when I started. Absolutely terrible company and product.
