Tapforms Review
I have been using Tapforms for a few years and have now developed my own database apps for my business. Having gained a lot of knowledge using Tapforms, I can honestly say it is the best database app in its class / category for Apple devices. If Bento hadn’t been abandoned then with development it could have been a serious challenger to Tapforms. As such Tapforms fills a very important gap in the marketplace and its features would take some time for an alternate software developer to copy. It does this without costing the earth to own or paying a regular subscription fee. Once a user grasps what Tapforms is capable of doing, you will be surprised what you can use it for. My main use is for gathering data in the field with an iPhone or iPad then sync this data with my main database on my Mac. I am unable to buy an app that will do what I need so Tapforms allows me to make my own exactly to my requirements. I use it for

Some of the things I like about Tapforms are:
Having acquired the data, it is a simple matter of generating a report according to a template which I can convert to PDF for sharing or printing.
I can acquire all sorts of data including photos, audio, video recordings, formatted text fields, calculations based on data I feed in. One of my favourites is capturing the GPS co-ordinates of where I am or enter site location and display this on a world map.
I can acquire data in separate forms based on function and connect the data to another form.
Create preset filters to extract the data I am specifically looking for mandatory reporting.
I don’t need to contact Brendan at Tapforms very often these days but he blows me away with how quickly he responds. I am way out of his time zone and yet he responds at what I would consider the most unexpected of times. He leaves me wondering if he sleeps at all.
I often look at apps in the App Store for a specific task and then realise I could do that in Tapforms if I wanted to develop it. Tapforms does not require the user to pay monthly subscriptions for some service which requires an Internet connection to function properly. I’ve tried many database apps on iOS, maybe all of them. None of them compare to Tap Forms. Hands down the best out there. Worth every penny
I just love it
I’ve found this database so easy to use in its latest form. Having total control over the layout and format of each database is just what I needed. The sync between IOS and my Mac is stable and quick.
Being able to have relationships between tables I find helps with repetitive inputs.
For me Tapforms is a winner.
Tap Forms
Hi I moved my forms in alphabetical order and now some forms are missing.
They are still on my phone but not my iPad. Also when I add files to my iPad, they are not converting with the photo to my iphone, and it is the iphone I take with me when Looking for material

This is the best of the sort and many useful features! Highly recommend. Love the apple watch compatibility as well!

I hate this app. Not at all intuitive and could not connect/sync with my Mac
