Impossible to contact
It is impossible to make contact with this company. They will not be in business long as they have zero customer service. Shame as this could be a very good app. Tried to reinstate my account but they do not respond.

Ride-hailing made easy
Taxi hire at the touch of a button. To book a black cab, just confirm your location, select your destination, track your driver's arrival and then away you go.
Pre-tipping feature
You now have the option to pre-tip drivers when requesting a taxi. Which is great for when you really have to get somewhere, as it increases your chances of a driver accepting your ride.
Driver owned & operated
There’s no fat cats here. Taxiapp is run by drivers for drivers, with all the fare going into your cabbie's pocket. They also enjoy a profit share too.
Booking fee
Unlike other apps, our drivers get 100% of the fare on the meter. To enable us to do this, we do however charge our passengers a booking fee of £3.00 (inc vat).
Pre-book or hail now options
If you’ve got to get to the airport, to a meeting or just home after a night out, you can use Taxiapp to book a cab in advance. Or you can just e-hail whenever you’re ready.

Our drivers have to memorise 25,000 London roads to get The Knowledge, you just need to download Taxiapp to get wherever you need to go.
5 & 6 seaters
All licensed black cabs can take five or six passengers, so are perfect for groups. Or very spacious if you’re on your own.

All Taxiapp cabs are wheelchair accessible and have hearing loops. Assistance dogs are also welcome.
Safety first approach
You can share your trip, so friends and family know you’re en-route and all drivers are fully vetted as part of being a licensed black taxi driver.

One of the worst apps I’ve used
Doesn’t attract drivers, waited over 10mins before cancelling. No Apple Pay integration or single sign on. Takes forever to load and really poor U.I.
Disappointing
Tried this app once. My request was accepted but when i called the taxi driver as requested he told me he was at home and had accepted our ride by mistake. So stranded in the taxi desert called central London again. Unacceptable. Don’t use.
No driver and hefty cancellation charge!
I rebooked the trip. Five minutes pass, no one turned up. I called the driver as well as texting and no answer. I had to cancel the trip as I’m running late and have to find the alternative. Got charge £9 for that. Never again. Stick to the competitors - Freenow, Uber, Bolt. Very unprofessional and feels like a scam.
Poor
Tried to use but repeatedly fails to load the route. Loaded route and price only 1 in 10 attempts. GETT works every time. I want to support the cabbies but this ain’t working .
Not great
Whenever I attempted to order a taxi using the app none were available! Have deleted my account and will only use the more reliable apps available.

Delighted. Finally the app works. Hit the order button and a cab was on its way in seconds. Seems like there’s soo many more drivers now. Never have trouble ordering anymore and also the pre book feature works when I needed a taxi early one morning. £3 booking fee which seems fair as the driver keeps the money on the meter. Well done black cabbies. Best in the world.
Very Happy
I tried using this app a few years ago with only some luck, but having really used it a few times recently I have been able to get a taxi every time. The drivers are very friendly and seem happy with the app as they do not pay any commission. I hear they get charged up to 20% on the other apps. Just a small booking fee, but again way less than what the other apps surcharge me. All London drivers should be on this app. Seems a fairer system for both customers and drivers.
Disappointing
Booked 2 hours in advanced. The driver cancelled five minutes after he was due to pick me up having not answered my call or text. Worse still as the app doesn’t then try to find another driver - your request is just cancelled. That’s the first and last time I’ll use this
