Taxi hire at the touch of a button. To book a black cab, just confirm your location, select your destination, track your driver's arrival and then away you go.
Pre-tipping feature
You now have the option to pre-tip drivers when requesting a taxi. Which is great for when you really have to get somewhere, as it increases your chances of a driver accepting your ride.
Driver owned & operated
There’s no fat cats here. Taxiapp is run by drivers for drivers, with all the fare going into your cabbie's pocket. They also enjoy a profit share too.
Booking fee
Unlike other apps, our drivers get 100% of the fare on the meter. To enable us to do this, we do however charge our passengers a booking fee of £3.00 (inc vat).

If you’ve got to get to the airport, to a meeting or just home after a night out, you can use Taxiapp to book a cab in advance. Or you can just e-hail whenever you’re ready.

Our drivers have to memorise 25,000 London roads to get The Knowledge, you just need to download Taxiapp to get wherever you need to go.
5 & 6 seaters
All licensed black cabs can take five or six passengers, so are perfect for groups. Or very spacious if you’re on your own.

All Taxiapp cabs are wheelchair accessible and have hearing loops. Assistance dogs are also welcome.

Absolutely useless
We prebooked a taxi using this app for the next day - early in the morning (4.30am)to get to the Stanstead Express. The booking was confirmed and even got the name of the driver who would be picking us up the next day. The morning arrives and suddenly at 4am get a message that the designated driver would not be coming - offered an option of finding another taxi and one was found - would be there in 20 minutes. Ok that would still be right on 4.30am. At 4.25 we are told that that driver was no longer available did I want to search for another. We had no time to waste and just rushed out the door and 10 minutes later hailed a taxi in the street.
The app was worse than useless. If you book a taxi for a specific time then you expect it to arrive at the agreed time. The fact that drivers can cancel at a whim and the app then searches with no guarantee of success makes this an utterly bogus system.
