TED

It seems with every app update, TED fix one thing but break another. Since the update a few days ago, NO TALK will begin playing (iphone 14 pro, great internet connection). Tap the play icon on ANY talk 100 times. Nothing happens. Close to ditching this mess. Too hard.

I find it disconcerting the TED tracks all my data. Surely an ethical organisation would respect privacy

Hey TED team! I have always enjoyed watching and listening to TED talks and I personally find them extremely insightful and entertaining, and I think others would say the same. And I feel that as someone who is trying to develop a stronger reading habit, TED would be perfect for this. Here is my idea; there should be a tab for the videos where one can access everything the speaker is saying but in words. How would applying this benefit TED? Doing this means that we can aim at an even larger audience, and we get a larger variety of people on the app. Having this would mean that people who aren’t interested in watching or listening, can now actually be engrossed. I truly hope you look into this idea, as I believe it will be a success.

For some reason this app bugs out when videos are open full screen , and then opening notification Centre or even control Centre, eg to adjust screen brightness. Please fix this, it’s super irritating.

I cannot see visuals except for TEd logo on opening app. All else. Screens are blank. So cannot use the app.

GREAT APP!! BEST IVE DOWNLOADED IN YEARS!!

Just updated to latest version of app. Using os12.3.1. Keeps crashing and going to a black screen. Up to this point had no trouble and thought it was an excellent app

App opens momentarily in background in reduced form behind the main screen but it won’t play when you tap on it. It disappears again behind the main screen. I have iPhone 6 with latest software 12.5.5 and the app says it plays on version 11 and higher. Please fix it.

Best app there is. So informative and interesting on so many different subjects. I wouldn’t be without it
