Teleprompter Video Camera

I absolutely love this app. We use this when making You Tube videos and it means we need less takes because we are no longer relying on memory. A tip: getting the speed right is crucial. It is well worth reading out loud the entire script before the camera is rolling to make sure it is moving at a natural level for you. Adjust the speed if you find you are having to chase after the text or if you are having to leave unnatural pauses.

Teleprinter mote is superbly easy to install and use. It takes away the fear to trying to speak to a script as it makes the process fun at the same time. Look forward ti using it more in the future….

I was very impressed when I first started using this teleprompter. It is a very effective video prompting programme. It is possible to pay a load of money for video prompting and this is a great solution, especially for those on low budgets.

I use this a lot with a half-slivered mirror and it really works well. I have tried loads of other apps, but this is the best one I have found by far. Thanks guys keep up the good work!

I bought this for my iPad as a friend has some music on the PC version of this App and we could share the files. First it does not have the same features as the PC version. Files have to imported, it cannot natively view files on Dropbox. Rich text is not supported (really)! It only supports landscape on my iPad. Bit of a disappointment

This is the first time we have needed to use a teleprompter and choose this app as it seemed to offer a simple interface and got some good reviews. It worked well but there are a couple of flaws one of which is serious. The serious flaw is it far to easy to loose edits to the script, there seems to be no “are you sure” dialogues and it doesn’t save the script automatically like many iPad apps so it catches you out and you can easily end up loosing a lot of work The second is text handling. We Imported a document exported from pages as plain text and it gave odd character sequences instead of apostrophes. It was probably an export problem but I think this app should be able to handle it because the built in editor is not good enough for large scripts and changes so you are very likely to have another editor in the workflow.

It keeps dropping titles of each file and reverts to “script 12-name” very irritating on ipad 2 air

A teleprompter that does everything you need and is very simple to use. The developers are always very quick and prompt in providing any help or support. Would recommend to anyone.

The app refuses to work with any Bluetooth keyboard and seems to be a bug others have left negative reviews about. Effectively makes this app useless for me. I contacted the developer but no reply.
