Tempdrop

I work nights, so taking BBT at the same time every day isn’t feasible to me. I’ve had two pregnancies now and both have unfortunately ended in miscarriage, but tempdrop was on the dot accurate for my ovulation dates that resulted in conception. I believe I only conceived so fast as I’ve been using tempdrop for 4 years and have discovered I ovulate later, around CD 19-23. It’s an invaluable tool that has given me so much data and I highly recommend.

I really wanted to love this product but the hardware is so unreliable. My first device was faulty and replaced under warranty. My second device was also faulty and replaced after warranty. That second device died after about a year and I now can't replace it under warranty. These devices are NOT designed to last and you can find several other users complaining about them online. They are known to die if you stop using for a while (such as during pregnancy) or they will drain batteries so quickly that a new battery won't last throughout the night. For the price you pay, you are getting an unreliable piece of hardware. And it's of course a problem that an expensive problematic device requires a paid subscription for its app after purchase.

Pros are that you don’t have to wake up for your BBT temps and as someone whose kid wakes them up all through the night, that little extra of sleep is dire to me. Which brings me to my next point- this item is very bad at tracking sleep. Because I’m waking up a lot, I can identify that easily. The other night I didn’t go to sleep until 1 am but was laying down with my kid for hours before then. Well, while I was laying down at 10:30 pm it decided I fell asleep although I was wide awake. Today I woke up horribly unrefreshed after a night of about 10 wake ups and sure enough it only logged one and said I slept great. So really not good for tracking sleep. I got the subscription trial because I was excited to track my sleep too but after how inaccurate it is, I already canceled the subscription within a week. Sleep tracking is really the only reason to even do the subscription. Still does OPKs but that’s it.

The sensor works great, but the app would force me to pay for interpretations of data, but I can input the temp into other apps for free interpretation. Separately, there has been issues just opening the app since the new update.

My device will not sync at all after the recent update. This product is not completely unusable and I’m not able to get any support.

After the recent update I can’t sync my arm band to the app and view my temperatures anymore. Please fix it

Worked fine for years but now it won’t sync after the latest update rendering the whole thing useless, feels like a scam to get people to purchase the new device

It worked great, wore it almost every night for over a month, then the whole app stopped and all of my data is gone.

I love this app so much! I use it for FAM tracking and it has made the process so much easier. My ONE complaint is I wish you could manually confirm ovulation from ovulation strips… it’s all automatically confirmed based solely on temp. But if there is a time the band is not worn or does not track for some reason it could miss a day.. I wish you could enter it on your own and it still be “confirmed ovulation”.

If you want a skin temp device with free app use Ava. This one is a scam and I wish I never bought!! So frustrated!
