STEP TWO: WHAT GETS MEASURED GETS IMPROVED.
Set your high-level goals and availability to train and we’ll show you how to spend your time to hit your objectives.

Good but AI coach features have regressed
A few months back, the AI coach was giving valuable info and tips. Nowadays, it’s mostly pushing nutritional & hydration product placement. Not what I expect from a 50$ CAD / year subscription…
I have no idea why the feature has regressed so much.
@Devs : It would be nice to get more info on your product roadmap… The app is great but the pace of improvement has slowed quite noticeably.
Almost good
You can sync it to Strava and app will analyze you. It entices you with showing you how close you are to the next “level” and tantalizingly offers a trainer plan to improve. It stops there. The training plan I chose offered me 3 workouts a week but suggested the same two 80 minute Strava workouts each day. Almost good.
Good app
Good app. Works well. I have used different ones and this is made to be easy and it is.
Basic features are missing
I've been using the app and although it has its merits, a few aspects leave room for improvement. One noticeable drawback is the absence of WHOOP support. Moreover, the inability to upload workouts to a cycling computer is a limitation that should be addressed. Additionally, I found that while engaging with audio workouts, there's a lack of essential information provided, which affects the overall quality of the experience.

Good little app, but some suggestions …
I like the graphics that communicate where my strengths and weaknesses are, giving me an idea of how I should plan my rides.
Two things I’d like to see in the app are:
1) Strava connectivity. I know this is probably on the roadmap, but the sooner it’s added, the better.
2) All of my other fitness apps (Garmin, Wahoo, Strava) give an option of what day to start my week on. This would bring The Breakaway in line with my training regimen and keep my results consistent across all apps.
Great App for the cyclist who is a data addict!
You need a power meter on your bike and/or indoor trainer that has one. I have both (4iiii and peloton) and having all the data combined into one app for analysis is perfect
Breakaway simple but effective
A new app that I am looking forward to see how it supports my ‘22 goals. So far very impressed- also the guys running it are awesome and definitely interested in developing something that stands out in the crowd. Give it a go you won’t be disappointed.
Overloaded?
Original upload of Strava took 4 days… figured I would try and subscribe since there’s a free month. Data hasn’t updated since the original upload. Looks good but how far will your patience take you?
Buggy
Good idea but the app is buggy and won’t load Strava data.
