Non-Canadian App
I tried to reset the weather to a city in the province of Quebec...guess what? I couldn't find any cities in Quebec I tried to search for. So I delete the app from my iPad as being a non-canadian app.
It's ok but not inspiring.
As a Canadian living in Australia, I use this app to stay on top of current events.
Pretty good app
Pretty good app. Although sometimes it takes a while for an article to load up.
Average app, could use improvements
App is ok. It sometimes crashes and occasionally the content won't load. It would be better if you could swipe from story to story without having to go back to the main page. Considering I have a paid login (in conjunction with my home delivery) I'd expect a higher quality app.
Good job Globe
Just thought I would provide an update since the previous one is a bit old. This app works great for me. This is one of the only Canadian news apps worth having on your iPhone. CBC News app was horrible comparatively. The content on this one loads quickly and is nicely laid out.You can close the adverts, adjust text size of the headlines and body and customize what news sections you want to see. Worth a try. I wish CBC and local papers like Vancouver Sun would take a page from these guys.
Good app but why are there ads?
I’m a paying subscriber so why are there ads? Lol…
Dark mode
The dark mode setting should match the system setting automatically. Instead you have to manually toggle the dark mode setting on and off within the app.
It only gives you headlines
You can’t read anything! Unless you have subscribed for membership it’s useless
Total Mess
I am a subscriber. I receive various emails and when I click on an article it does not recognize my subscription. I have logged out and in - no response. Very frustrating.
