Sad development

I really like the app and the idea behind it. The experience itself is okay and has all basic features. However the latest update shows indicators what this is going to be. The new premium is a huge downgrade as family members now can’t upload more than 4 memories anymore… This used to be per family album subscription and now everyone user has to subscribe. There is sharing but that is just one person + one family member…

Das hochladen, teilen und kommentieren von Photos und Videos klappt gut und macht Spaß. Leider ist das Design sehr altbacken und unübersichtlich. Der Photostream ist eigentlich wegen der vielen Werbung und der ständigen Prompts nicht benutzbar, zusätzlich filtert er automatisch die eigenen Bilder heraus. Es gibt schönere Apps um die Bilder der Kinder mit der Familie und Freunden zu teilen.

Lose the ads and articles

Used to be awesome opening onto a calendar with the possibility to flick to the next photo simply. Now I have to scroll through so many ads to get to the photos I want to see.

While I enjoy the articles and love the ease of photo sharing is there an option to receive article emails on a weekly basis rather than daily. And still receive updates of photos without all the additional ads. Understandably ads lower cost of the site but I dislike getting daily multiple emails from this site. Less is often better!

Wonderful way to keep family up to date

We live far away from our family and want to keep them up-to-date on the developments and moments in our children’s lives. Tinybeans is great because it allows us to post pictures in a private way. We choose who sees the photos and those who see the photos can decide how much they want to be updated. The platform is simple and visually appealing. It is easy to upload from the phone and also the computer. We have been using it for over two years now with both our children now and we’re all still very happy with it. Especially the grandparents!
