The connection to the app worked the first year and now Wifi doesn't work on ac and qr code is "illegal" and leed to no website! Do not try to add to HomeKit!
I like it
Toshiba should be embarrassed by how plain, limited, and wonky this app is. Simply horrible. Zero improvement. Will avoid Toshiba products in the future.
So I bought the window AC with WiFi but the function seems not working well. Sometime I lose connection and see the AC as offline on the app so I need to reset the AC settings and play with it. Finally I found the solution. It is working for me every time so I think it might work for some of you maybe. ** Solution ** Rename your current connected WiFi to any name and then connect the AC to it. Then rename it to the original name and connect to it. It will solve the problem. Note: you don't need to switch off and on the AC every time to connect to wifi just hold the wifi button on AC.
Works good when it’s online, but seems to have trouble staying connected. To get it back online I have to do the full setup again, which is very annoying.
Vraiment pas bon sa marche le 1/4 du temps c vraiment pas fiable
The AC unit seems to work pretty good in my bedroom, I love the ability to turn the LEDs off. The problem is with the app and wifi. The app constantly makes you agree to the terms and services every time you open the app, it is extremely annoying. The other major annoyance is that AC will disconnect from wifi and show offline until you power cycle it and then it connects right away. A few updates to the app and I would give it a 4 or maybe even a 5 star rating, but in its current state I can only give it 2 stars and that is based on the actual AC unit itself.
The app works but seems rather rudimentary. Features that should be added: multiple timers, change wifi, a iPad version! Toshiba as a serious brand can do better.
The control interface of the app is easy to navigate once the wifi connection is made. Connecting to wifi can be a little tedious but there seems to be a bigger problem where the air conditioner (RACWK08..) often loses its wifi connection and the whole process has to be done over. The AC unit itself is very sleek and nice for a window unit although it is quite noisy. It works well and keeps a stable and comfortable temperature. I wish there was a way to fix the AC unit’s wifi issue.
