Build quaint island towns with curvy streets. Build small hamlets, soaring cathedrals, canal networks, or sky cities on stilts. Block by block.

No goal. No real gameplay. Just plenty of building and plenty of beauty. That's it.

Townscaper is an experimental passion project. More of a toy than a game. Pick colors from the palette, plop down colored blocks of house on the irregular grid, and watch Townscaper's underlying algorithm automatically turn those blocks into cute little houses, arches, stairways, bridges and lush backyards, depending on their configuration.

Think it would be a nice addition for future versions to have random people wandering around, going into houses, interacting?

I love this game sm but it needs something

It could do with roads/and different modes of transport to make it a but realistic, and it could have some ai people too

Ultimate relaxation mind switch off game

I adore this game and I think it has potential to be one of the best apps on the App Store. There could be some improvements: - ability to choose linear grid - I want to build towns all in satisfying straight lines - ability to switch between houses & shops etc - add in little extras, trees, benches, all things that are already there but I’d like to place them myself - little meandering humans & dogs - ability to just hold and move your finger around to fill big areas in at once Honestly I could spend hours and hours designing little towns, but I’d like more control, maybe that says more about me than the app…

Brilliant idea but needs some improvements

I've been waiting for this game for quite a while and it is finally in the App store! My major feedback is that is really, really slow on M1 mac machines. Even though it says in the description: "works on your laptop". Every time I click or go from building to rotating the view, the game lags for ~5 seconds. This kills the UX which is very unfortunate. I would really love to see this improved (and even more, I'd love to help improving this if you want!). Thank you!

Finally found the relaxing game I want!

Pls add more space to build

When I build it’s either stops at height. Or as I go along so please fix this!

Needs 120fps on iPad

Great, fun game - however one downside. The game is great - but you notice it running at a low fps even on the latest iPad models. The iPad is definitely capable of running this at 120fps, so why not take advantage of this? Would get 5 stars if higher fps options were available (60fps+). I hope this change comes in an update!

Is it possible to mod the mobile game, and can I expand the maximum size of a city? This game is great, thank you very much for making it. Much worth the money.

Suggestions?

I really love Townscaper. It’d be great if shops, cafes and trees were added to the game too! Also, I don’t seem to be able to build floating buildings on the phone app like people have been talking about.
