Why would you remove the high ticket rewards before anyone can save up for them??

doggielette on

I’ve been saving for the national park pass for over a year, and I was so close (about 5,000 away) and come to find it was increased by 10,000 more points and now is completely gone. I’m love what this app does. But it’s ridiculous to have these rewards, especially the the super expensive ones, that just disappear before anyone can redeem. The national park pass wasn’t even the most expensive one! If the reasoning for getting rid of them was no one redeeming them… well… that your fault for making them so difficult to get? I was so excited to get that national park pass, it was my biggest motivator and now it’s completely gone.

NOT FREE

After receiving an email that I would now be charged monthly to support the trees I earned through my steps, I have tried to cancel my account. Now I can’t log into my account but I was still charged

Rewards

The rewards on this app stink! I have planted so many trees and such but I want my Points to matter and it’s not worth it to me to continue to plant trees if the rewards are not as good!

absolutely amazing.

it takes awhile to commit to this app but when u do it really gets fun!!!

Very disappointed and angry

I downloaded this app as an extra effort to do something good for the world. But then there is reward for doing something for free: a cute bracelet! Well, I have gotten the same bracelet over and over and have I gotten any??? Never. I complete the task, they say I can claim a bracelet, I complete the info they ask for and then nothing. Then they try to get you to subscribe and they do it in a way that you fall for it. I have been charged 2 times without my consent. I probably clicked something that led to those charges. However, they do it in a way that’s confusing. For instance, when I noticed that after reaching a reward, they send you to a donation page but there is no way to exit that. I have to close the app in order to not be charged. Very upsetting! Who thinks that people who truly care for the environment have money to spare????! We broke!

Cool concept, but…

Really cool concept, but after a year of saving for the national park pass, they increased the cost by 10,000 points before getting rid of it altogether. Very disappointing

I want my parks pass ☹️

I originally downloaded the app after seeing a TikTok ad about an app where if you walked enough, you’d eventually earn a National Parks Pass. I was really excited about this app and referred a ton of people to it. Obviously, I am pumped about the trees being planted but I was also really excited about having this goal of the parks pass. It’s been a little over a year since I downloaded and I’m so close to the points required for the parks pass and… they don’t offer it anymore as a reward. That was really disappointing since I spent the past year working toward it. Furthermore, I’ve hated since the beginning that if you don’t plant a tree as soon as you hit 10K steps, then any extra steps in that time don’t count toward anything. I thought turning on auto tree planting would fix that but it just plants the trees for you after you hit the claim button and that’s actually caused more problems because it started a second mini island away from my tree island so it’s totally disorganized. I’ll keep using the app at this point since I do like getting to help the environment, but I just wanted to say I am disappointed by the app because it has so much more potential.

Disappointed

I've been saving to get the national parks pass and was so excited to get closer daily to my goal and was within a week or 2 when they moved to 25,000. No big deal I'm still going to get it! After looking today it looks like the reward is gone completely I feel crushed and baited into this and don't find any of the words even worth it. Also I was hoping to see more trees or customizations to my island and bummed to see the lack of it.

Amazing app

This app is amazing it helps to encourage you to walk, and when you do walk you are able to help the environment.

No reward

I turned in 15000 points for my air BnB gift card. It’s been two weeks and haven’t received it. Emailed the company and haven’t gotten a response. It’s a digital card that should be instant. Still nothing.
