Secure File Storage & Sharing

Published by: Tresorit

Description

End-to-end encrypted file sync & sharing app that lets you store, sync and share files securely and easily.
Save your photos to a secure place, create memos about meetings for your team and access them in shared folders on the go – and be sure that no one can read your files besides you and those who you share with.
Tresorit uses built-in end-to-end encryption with zero-knowledge standards to guarantee the highest level of security. All your files are encrypted on your device before they are uploaded to the cloud, which means no one else can read them besides you, no hackers, no authorities, not even Tresorit’s IT admins.

Tresorit Reviews

Only 3Gb on free plan. Subscription too high.

When Google drive give you 200Gb for £24.99, 2Tb for £80/year and PCloud give you 500Gb for £50 a year, why would anyone use Tresorit ? Some people only maybe want 100Gb or 200Gb.

Excellent App - 10/10

Highly encrypted application for documents storage better than DROPBOX and BOX. If you care about your customers data than switch to Tresorit.

Privacy failures

iPL-2009 on

As per privacy policy, the names of folders and files ("members") are kept unencrypted in order to support the Activity Wall feature. This is a disastrous breach of zero-knowledge.

Excellent secure system

This is an excellent GDPR super secure system - it is evolving and I can’t wait for it to be even more seamless with my other data harvesting and storage apps and pathways

Unauthorised debit!

It seems Tresorit debited my bank nearly £100 today, which came as a bit of a surprise since I deleted the app shortly after downloading it. I checked my subscriptions, and it isn’t listed there!!!

How secure a Swiss / Hungary company coalition ?

First must say have downloaded the app , wish to use it and an willing to pay to use it , though have not yet subscribed . Occurred to me if Apple are now about to scan people's photos and lives and even install software on their devices to do so , I would to begin with turn off iCloud photos and for Pages . Tresorit seems very secure except for one concern . It is jointly owned and operating from Switzerland and Hungary , which was not in the past an issue . But recent reports are of Hungary becoming an almost autocratic state . And if there is one thing autocratic states hate , it is that people have their own privacy . So my question whether to subscribe to Tresorit rests upon this risk - Tresorit could be compromised / coerced , or shut down by an autocratic state . Doubt Apple will publish this review as may be too contentious or political , but at least will read it . If Apple can't be trusted , users will go elsewhere . As for the 3 star rating - I can't yet rate it , though may update if start to use Tresorit .
