In my opinion, this has a great deal of content and it’s also one of the more expensive app driven guitar teaching program. Before you put down your money, know that the ALL ACCESS lets you stream the lessons but you own nothing. They don’t reveal all the details until after you pay the money. Worse, even though I paid, I wasted time dodging all the additional content they wanted me to buy. So all access, seemed to open me up to another glut of advertising. The teaching is fine, but not exceptional. Definitely save your money. TrueFire could do much better.
It is a subscription but it helps me every day and I can learn at my speed and it has real instructors, it’s worth it
One of the most unintuitive apps to navigate and utilize that I’ve ever encountered.
i feel like an idiot but i have to close the app and reopen to go back. Why doesn’t the screen edge swipe gesture work
I have had the application for a couple of months and like it. The ability to slow the videos down to see what is being played, the many styles of music to learn and so much more.
The lessons and set-up of the software is great to me. Pretty straightforward, with some issues on navigation a bit iffy in terms of when it works or not. The biggest issue is the bug where things do not line up. If, for instance, there is a course with 4 lessons - each has a video, tab under the video and the ability to launch into GP - often the tab related to the video is really for another video. So you are watching lesson 3, but the tab for 2 or 4 shows. I try clicking above and below to get to the proper tab to view, to no avail. Stoping in the middle of a lesson then coming back often results in the video not being playable, coupled with the wrong tab. Sometimes the ability to return to the main screen/dashboard doesn’t work. This happens on courses I purchased in order to have them on my iPad via download. The only way to resolve this is to quit and relaunch, which can become a bit tedious depending on how often the bug shows up. Again, the lessons and the layout are the best I have tried and makes sense to me - that is easily a 5, especially when compared to other lessons I have tried.
This is a fantastic app with great teachers and lessons. I would recommend this to anyone learning or playing the guitar.
I have been a customer of TrueFire for well over 15 years. Your content is excellent. All of your content creators are excellent! I especially enjoy learning from Brad Carlton. His knowledge of the guitar is unrivaled!
Ordered the full access and I can’t access anything! Apparently you can’t order on a weekend! Not off to a good start!
