Language options are buggy
I set my language to English, then during the sign up process it switches back to Thai.
Impossible to scan passport!
Utterly terrible implementation of the passport scan. Essentially impossible to register your account. How this passed basic testing is beyond belief.
Cannot use
Don’t have Thai ID so I cannot spend the money that is on the account fix this. Just use the passport instead of Thai addresses
Doesn't work for tourists
Why not state that clearly somewhere before we suffer the rest of the convoluted sign up process? Useless. Additionally, if you're an international student you still have to select a Thai university address.
Doesn’t work
How do you sign up if you are foreigner, it’s asked for your address and occupation in Thailand, can I not use if am staying here for a month
Unable to register
Many passports these days have a plastic page for the main page of the passport, this creates reflection, the in app scanner doesn’t like reflection. If you do not change this, I can see nobody using this app in the near future. You have to verify each picture taken anyway right? So why not ditch the dumb reflection restriction and if a picture comes through unreadable then notify the user to take another in better light, instead of it being completely impossible from the beginning? You'd do the same anyway if the picture was not acceptable no?!
Cannot use now
I had used this app for years until last year when I was told in addition to my passport I would need either a Thai driving license or house book, I have neither of these so now I cannot use the app! Not foreigner friendly.
Great app with lots of deals and offers
Great app with lots of deals and offers. Easy to use and accepted in many places in Thailand. Previously, the target customers were obviously Thai citizen. Hence, a lot of meaningless whinges from foreigners living in Thailand who didn’t bother learning Thai. Anyway, fast forward to 2021/2022 there are other foreign languages support, not just Thai and English. The app is fit for purpose in many ways.
Pointless
Unable to top it up with any foreign debit card , so must go to 7-11 to put money in so may as well just pay the bill in 7 11! Useless
