TRX Reviews

High cost, low value

R10S0NG on

United States

For how much money a subscription costs, you’d think the app would work with devices like apple watch (which they advertise, but does NOT work), and that the user experience in the app would be nice. Instead, the app is pretty clunky, workouts are led by amateurs who mix up cues, and it doesn’t even integrate properly with health apps. You’re better off seeking out fitness apps from other providers.

iPad app crashes after latest update

cornerofthemoon on

United States

The TRX app for iPad constantly crashes after the September update. When one hits the button to activate a live class the app turns off. I see no problems with the iPhone app however. Please fix.

Good workout, bad features

freshwilson on

United States

The workouts are great and energetic. But in regards to the app, you cannot save a series of workouts only individual ones. You also have no indicator as to which ones you’ve completed and which ones you haven’t. I have to search for my workouts every time.

No offline capability

DPalencar on

United States

They brag about how they came from the military and are great for the military. But they this app has no offline capability. Tell me how often military member need offline capability? ALL THE TIME. I’m deployed to Europe, am outside all the time (or inside for that matter), and can’t use this app which requires WiFi or data. Very disappointed.

Unorganized mess

c-ATT on

United States

Nothing more than a long list of videos in semi -random order. Lacks name specific searching. You must watch or manual skim though the video to learn what’s involved. No list of exercises or sets to evaluate beforehand. This is an app for people who do random exercises — not those looking for a program path to success. They’ve been collecting my monthly fee for three months, but half the workouts listed prompt me to subscribe for an entire year in advance and are inaccessible unless I pay up. This was money wasted.

Bad App

Jared Chinnock on

Don’t waste your time. If you have a suspension trainer I recommend educating yourself on how to properly structure a workout because these workouts are laughably bad. Waste of time and money.

Anything to make life easier

As a working mom of twins, I need easy access to effective workouts that I can do anywhere and anytime. What I love most about the TRX app is I can pick the length of time and the type of workout. I also love that I can choose a focus like just core or arms or lower body too! Highly recommend having this app at your fingertips!

Best Fitness App!

Grrrrrreat

The new app is so much better than the previous. The workouts are easy to follow and syncs up with fitness app for tracking.

Disappointed

iNation on

United States

While the exercise equipment itself is well-made and functional, I'm deeply disappointed by the complete lack of instructional resources in the app teaching proper form and technique for targeting specific muscle groups. As someone who invested over $250, I expected more than just the hardware - a few simple tutorial videos or animated guides could have transformed this into a comprehensive fitness solution. Instead, I'm left with high-quality gear but no dedicated way to learn how to use it effectively without paying extra for classes, and that I don't need. Add a section for muscle group animated instructions, if somehow its in the app please direct me where I find it to change my review. Thanks.
