App charges unauthorised transaction
Had to use this app to party up my wonderboom so i download and it required payment details. Then next day charge of 40 came in without me purchasing anything.
Weird
Megaboom works with the app and Boom doesn’t. It used to work.
Cannot connect to speaker
My phone was literally kissing the speaker, so how much closer do you need to connect the app to the bloody speaker?!

Follow the instruction below to connect your speaker!
For those who owns a UE Boom2, here’s a solution to connect your speaker to the the Boom App. 1) Forget your speaker under your phone’s Bluetooth settings 2) Factory reset your speaker - [THIS INSTRUCTION IS FOR UE BOOM 2] First, turn on your speaker. Secondly, hold down the power and volume down buttons at the same time till you hear a chime and power off tone. 3) Turn your speaker back on and connect it to your phone/iPad. It should be able connected to the app now. I understand the frustration and I hope this solution works for you! 👍
Pointless
Does not work for the Wonderboom so there is no point even creating the app.
Battery indication
I noticed that previously the app reflected the battery level of the speaker to the nearest one (I.e. 94%) whereas if you press both the ‘+’ and ‘-‘ sign on the speaker the speaker rounds off the battery level to the nearest 10. Right now it seems the app is possibly doing the same as my Megaboom 3 speaker’s battery indication on the app has been at 40% for almost a week despite me using it on a daily basis. The battery level reflected matches what the speaker says so I’m not sure if the problem is whether the app has been updated to round off the battery level like the speaker or my speaker’s battery indicator is faulty. Please advise.
