UserTesting

I applied for dozens of tests over the course of about 2 weeks- both via mobile app as well as Mac book. For each you have to answer qualifying questions. Some are 10 or more questions long. For many I select an answer and it immediately says I don’t qualify. For others there may be 12 qualifying questions. I may get to the 4th or 5th question then it says sorry you do not qualify. Not only and I not making money because I don’t get approved for any tests but it’s a waste of time. Also the platform is collecting all of this data from the qualifiers that I answer and I don’t get paid a dime. Think about that. They get your data for free. For every question you answer free data that they can turn around and sell. My time down the drain, no compensation. Good luck. I deleted the app. Waste of time.

Login puts me on infinite loop and mobile web not working.

I don’t know how to edit my earlier review they fixed the Dec 2024 button issue with the latest release There are still lots of minor annoyances like having to manually decline written surveys you don’t qualify for but I’ll still use the app

“Get paid to test” is a LIE because they make it impossible to partake in anything, and the pay offered is pitiful. I downloaded this app for a few months and would try to sign up for studies a couple times a week. I couldn’t sign up for a single one, there were also barely any tests in the first place. Surveys seem even more disappointing, as they all list payment as $1 but omit the amount of time it’s going to take to complete the survey, so you end up spending 20 minutes to get a dollar. There are so many other better apps out there that let you earn money for surveys at a much more decent rate. I truly could not recommend this app any less.

With the new update, I cannot take screeners on my phone anymore. The button doesn’t work on the most updated IOS and app. This app historically is riddle with bugs.

- I haven’t seen a single test I was able to take on iOS. I’m constantly switching back and forth between my android and laptop. The screeners I’ve taken have all been multiple choice, so it’d be nice to do the screeners on any device and then complete the test on the designated device. - You have to give access to your camera and record inside of the app. This leaves no room for error while recording and if an upload fails, you’re out of luck. - My first test went terrible. You’re required to turn on screen overlay. Since you’re required to record inside the app, the test in UserTesting overlayed on top of the camera app and I couldn’t even see what I was recording for the test! There was also no option to review my recordings or resubmit them. - Payment is 14 days later. I’m used to payments taking up to 10 business days for larger tests on other apps and smaller tests paying out in 7 days. I think 10 business days for all tests is reasonable and see no problem with this. - Customers can rate you and get you kicked off the app. I almost got kicked off after my first test due to technical difficulties caused by the app itself and obviously I wasn’t perfect on my first test. I wish a mobile example practice test was offered for you to be rated on first. The practice test on the laptop was easy, no screen overlay and a simple screen recording. The mobile test practically forces you to mess up.

Buggy and waste of time

Can’t even get past the “create an account” step. All it says is “something is wrong” and closes out of the app. Can’t use their website because it’s desktop only.

This app won’t even allow me to enter my email address so i can surveys. I’ve tried like 25 times. Don’t even bother with it.

I’m click on start test.. and other screens came up.. o never saw any questions for the test, so I don’t know if I’m still taking the test or not. It leave me a bit frustrated.
