VERO - True Social

Im a coach and teaching and helping people with selflove and understanding there selves.. when I search on #selflove the only thing I see is a lot of pornography. Disgusting..

In search of a better alternative (instead of Instagram), I think Vero (has the potential) to attract (many more) creatives who understand the value of great content and art. The upload quality is great, the interface is appealing, but in regard to finding new people, it’s hard that it lacks a discovery page for photographers. For all media is a tab on the discovery tab. It does not make sense to exclude the photography out of this section. Could be better if Vero is adding this in the next update.

Something goes wrong here, my feed starts in January and the the web url is dead.

After the latest update, scrolling stutters. The app takes longer to load and eats more battery power on my iPhone 13. Furthermore, on my iPad it no longer syncs with my iPhone! The desktop version suddenly has my preference, despite beta the desktop versions now work better than the last App update!

Why is the Vero logo small down right at the widget screen? Love to see it big in the middel.

Well, I've been using Vero for a month now, and it's perfect. Social Media as it should be. Seeing your friend's posts (and of the accounts you follow) in chronological order, no algorithms, no advertisements. I love it!

Een heel goed alternatief voor Instagram en/of Facebook. Bepaal je eigen foto formaat en de tijdlijn blijft een tijdlijn. Geen algoritme wat je tijdlijn bepaald.

After years of trying other social media apps, with the most frustrating and unlogical algorithms, I finally found vero! No use of algorithms, no commercials, just a basic social media app where I as a photographer finally can share my work again and get attention for it. There is a growing community, and there is also room for sharing videos, games, books etc. I 💖 it! Reemster
