I wanted a social network without reels, ads and suggested posts. This seems to hit the spot.

Just love it on here, best photography platform I’ve been on

The only downside is not enough active users

I like the look of this, but I have connection issues here in the UK. The app starts up but within 30 seconds it struggles to connect to the internet. I'm on Wi-Fi, with no issues on any of my other social apps. Is there an issue with UK users at the moment?

My favourite social media platform. The layout is engaging and options to post your favourite places, books, films, videos, pictures and more. I feel this would be a great platform to share and discuss the above with like minded people. This feels different than the main social media’s. Hopefully the user base will grow and vero will flourish.

One thing to improve is add status of messages, such sent, delivered and read (currently only displayed “sent”)

Vero is one of the best looking platforms out there …. in my opinion. As an artist I really appreciate the aesthetics provided by Vero when displaying my work. The ethos of the organisation appears to be spot on as well so I’m more than happy to give it 5 stars. I just hope Vero remains under the control of its creators and retains all that is good about it.

This is what social media should be like. No nonsense, great community of artists & photographers who engage & support each other. Rewarding and a pleasure to use. Thoroughly recommend if you want to share your work with likeminded people. Thanks vero!

Okay… with the release of Threads + all other socials, what a breath of fresh air VERO is! Man, the UI is amazing, the community seem authentically genuine and …… VERO is not selling off data / mining data and there are NO ads! The privacy is super clear, the content is class and the vision of VERO is clear and open. Twitter / Meta etc lure you in for the vast numbers of users BUT at what cost to us?? I’m so glad to be with VERO and I look forward to this intentional journey with them.

At my age, it takes something really interesting and useful to get my attention. I’ve been a photographer for 50 years and I’m not usually a social media fan. In the last year or so, VERO has changed that. No adverts, no algorithms - just post, send likes, make new friends. Just be, we’ll, social….. I’m really enjoying my time on this platform. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️
