So some of their hardware is only accessible via this software but it’s seems they are quite some major bugs where you cannot access your hardware what so ever, this essentially will make your hardware useless so I’d strongly suggest not using this software and sending back any hardware whilst you can, my mppt controller has been out of action since December and I cannot get in contact with Victron so I have a £5000 set up that is now out of action until they fix it.

This latest version of the App or the MPPT software is not as stable as it was and keeps freezing moving between status, history and trends. Also, would be good if could put a number on the inverter load as well as the “dial”. When moving back through the history it flips onto trends. Again, this used to work so why mess with something that worked, hallmark of inadequate testing.

I have a simple system, 3 batteries and a 5kW inverter with a Cerbo GX comms module. For the past 18 months or so it has been fine and I could see how much power I had remaining, I’m not one for dicking about with it. Since the latest update, when I open the app and look at VRM I see the device is online, I click on it, the connection will load to 40% and stop, yes I can see the system via Bluetooth if I’m nearby but if I’m not it’s useless. Nobody manages the system for us and it is never updated so what next?

Until the latest update v 6.03 it was possible to slide the History screen back over at least a month. Now sliding left simply brings up the Trends screen.

Excellent bit of kit I however I would like the option to control the amps as gel batteries sometime have max 20 amps mine is max 30 amps whether you like it or not

Why can't I see the status of both of my batteries via the app? I have a narrowboat and have 2 batteries: Engine start & Domestic, both 110AH. Seems logical to display separate displays of the condition and charging state of each induvidual battery. Are Victron asleep at the wheel? The charger seems to work but VERY dissapointed with this app!

Widget records wrong figure on Solar, the VRM, GX Shelly and the inverter all say the figure that the widget is displaying is wrong even if it’s just done a pull to update it’s nearly 300watts extra compared to all the above. No way to do a bug submission on the app, tried forum no answer from Victron themselves if they are investigating.

It used to work fine but now none of my six devices will pair to my iPhone , a friends Samsung , my MacBook , it used to pair using just a 6 digit pin inputted the first time you logged on - now I suspect it’s looking for a pairing code which you are meant to see on a screen like the car etc but victron has no screens to see what the pairing code is / so I can not monitor anything , I can’t change any settings whatsoever and despite a huge victron forum no one can find a solution - totally useless kit now

Cool bit of kit of compact kit , seems to all work nicely

I have used this app for a few years and it’s pretty bomb proof and I like it connects to different devices. Having recently acquired an EV, I’m starting to think more in KWh than amp hours. In my BMV702 screen it only shows AH please can we have KWh too, or at least the option. Other than that great app, :-)
