Wahoo Reviews

Kickr core not found (but it shows 3 bars signal)

Don't update yet xx on

Australia

The stupid app says the kickr core is not found, even though it can see the signal coming from the kickr core, reporting it at 3 out of 4 bars strength

Step backwards

simwill87 on

The removal of heart rate zone alerts is disappointing. The layout is now more complicated, and the app feels slower compared to previous versions.

Glitchy app

SarahnAlice on

Australia

I love the bone trainer but the app is glitching. I’ve tried updating it but the issues continue. When I do an activity, my rides don’t upload and the app suddenly closes. When I reopen the app, the ride has not been recorded and whenever I try to look in the history, it closes down again. There may be some more bug fixes to do

Unreliable For Outdoor Rides

Señor Luke on

Australia

It looks like there’s been an update but unfortunately I’ve lost the data of two massive rides this week. Looks like I’ll be switching back to Strava until things get fixed

Accuracy and confidence

The accuracy of my Wahoo KICKR builds confidence and the confidence helps build improvement.

Utterly Disgraceful

Wahoo's new app is appalling. I've dug through the app, turning off ERG mode and all other setting and the app continues to make adjustments to flywheel resistance during efforts. You (wahoo) does NOT know better than the people using your app for their training. Furthermore, the collection and selling of user's data and the complete rigmarole that you must go through even just to delete your account is disgusting. Edit for response: So wahoo has been removing previous features as well and thinks this is acceptable? Especially after customers have bought and paid for a bike trainer with certain advertised features at the time of purchase. To your other point, I have used passive mode, and the other modes, without running any apps or programs alongside the wahoo app and it still sends signals to change resistance during efforts.

Features keep being reduced - forcing u to buy their products

Lamabarnes on

Australia

The latest version of this app is extremely disappointing. Power meter will not connect to the app anymore (other apps connect to it fine), the voice feature turns itself on all the time, the altimeter does not work, stopping mid ride, there is no customizable screens, just lots of flashy colors and confusing screens. My feeling is that they are reducing the features available in this ap one by one so that you are forced to buy the Wahoo cycle computer. very disappointing…..

Used to be great

Old version was perfect, new update has a useless status screen that is too cluttered to see anything useful. Time to find a different app.

So buggy. The HR will no longerconnect. Every update makes this app less reliable than before

Very very disappointing

Piece of junk

Going back to Strava + Zone trainer. This app doesn’t even have zone change audio notifications. What are the developers thinking?? 🤦‍♂️
