🤔 The Wahoo app's quality is mixed. Some users are satisfied, while others report issues. Consider reading individual reviews for more context.
Unfortunately after download new version there is no response of my kickr. Unpossible to manage resistance or other function. So my trainer is useless, I throw away over 1000$ (5500 polish zloty). I tried to download again few times.
It got worse
I used this app for a few years to record my runs paired with a hr monitor. It was great in the beginning, but after an update which changed the ui - the quality degraded. First of all, I lost all my runs recorded to that time. Now the user experience is also worse: the tabs open slowly and some things take way longer than they used to.
Today I was recording a long run during which I discovered about 30-40min in, that the app just stopped recording. I could resume my run, but it takes 1-2min… during the activity?! I resumed it, (lost some distance and time) but it happend again at the end of the run. I had to discard the whole session, because it reset to the place of the first failure.
I also noticed the gps tracking and pace jumps around more.
It takes a long time after finishing a run to see the results, it seems that the app connects to with the cloud too much, this wasn’t the case in the previous simpler versions. In the end I decided to switch to a different app, because this became unreliable.
Lost features in the new version
The app was amazing, fulfilling all my needs.
Unfortunately, in the new version disapprared:
- Mi Band heart rate sensor
- direct export to Relive application (I found a workaround through iPhone Health app though)
Is my HR sensor planned to add again in the future update?

The application automatically stops the training for no reason and disconnects the connection with the heart rate monitor
New version got removed important features
* Missing support for Bluetooth connection for Mi Band and getting heart rate during workouts. I am unable to pair Mi band as heart rate sensor, while it was working in the previous version. * Missing possibility to adjust wheel size for Bluetooth speed meters assembled on stationery bike. Previously it was possible to adjust wheel radius in Bluetooth settings of sensor and match speed with my speedometer on the spinning bicycle.
Bugs in new versions
After upgrade to 6.0 I lost all configuration: training definitions, integration with health, sensors etc. After 6.1 lost connection with health. Please add more testing before uploading new versions as before every training I am now afraid if it will work properly.
Update: after last update trainings with tickr are stopped after 40-50 minutes. HR stops and short after training is stopped. New battery in tickr.
No resistance mode available for trainer control
After the most recent update I lost the most useful option for trainer control - resistance mode. Please bring it back to the app.
New update ruined everything
With the new update the app became useless for me. Why you guys have hidden the possibility to see pulse zones in live? That was super helpful, basically the best feature for me. Disappointment.
Can't change Headwind speed
It's impossible to change Min/Max speed - when selecting the field the keyboard appears for a fraction of second then disappears... Pity
Inputs loses focus
I can't set the HR value for Headwind. When I click on inputs the keyboard hides
