Watch to 5K Reviews

Very Disappointed

I have had exactly the same experience as another reviewer so I have copied their review, and yes, I have paired my watch to my AirPods using Bluetooth as per the app instructions. Not had a good experience with this app. Thought it was worth a go considering it's a paid app so assumed it would be built better than all the free apps. Also main driver for getting it was the Apple Watch integration. Unfortunately the most important, most basic watch functions don't work. Like most people I listen to music when running, but the spoken 'coach' feedback (cues to start/stop running etc) only play out of the watch speaker. After I FINALLY managed to get them to play through my AirPods, they only play when the music is not! As a result I needed to rely on the haptic feedback, which only happens occasionally, and when it did the vibrations were very, very weak meaning I frequently missed the cause of when to start running.

Absolutely superb!

I’ve just finished week 6 and I’m absolutely loving this app. Apple Watch integration is spot on. I listen to music via my AirPods whilst running and this app just interrupts the music seamlessly with actions. Also love the fact you are told when you are half way, so you can turn around and always end up back where you stared. 10/10 - well done!

Completed the plan on this app several months ago and still running. App worked perfectly every time.

Brilliant App!

At school I was the kid who couldn’t run 800m without nearly dying, this app has got me to running 5k 2-3x a week and now I’m looking forward to the upcoming 5-10k feature. Love that it’s a one-time purchase instead of a subscription too, we need more apps like this!

Simple but effective, now on final week. I wish there was a follow up app 5k to 10k

9 weeks over before you know it.

After 4 years out and no cardio fitness I have now gone from nothing to running 4.5k in 30 minutes on the last run. It won’t be long until I hit 5k in 30. The program is amazing, push yourself to get the runs is, don’t rush it and don’t run injured and you will make it through.

Does the job simply and well

I wanted to participate in couch to 5K but didn’t want to run with my phone and this app is perfect for the Apple Watch. Does exactly what you’d want.

Phone free coach to 5K

Fantastic app, easy to use, great to go through the program being able to leave phone at home. Loved the encouraging rewards as you progress. App shows all the essential stats to know how you’re doing. Helpful that it separates out the warm up/cool down walks in the stats & breaks down walking/running sections. With the minimal information spoken through the exercise means it doesn’t interrupt your podcast/music too frequently which was a plus for me. Highly recommend.

Brilliant App

Not usually one for writing reviews but this app is so good. Was told I had high cholesterol and needed to exercise so booked on a 5K and needed something to help. Had the std couch to 5K but hated taking my phone out. This was perfect. On week 7 now, hard work but the app really helps. Especially with mapping the run average sped and distance etc. I highly recommend it.
