If I knew the app would be this bad, I would have never gotten the lock. Absolutely Awful

My lock batteries died twice after less than 2 months. Never received a notification or alert about low level of battery. App reports last battery level is 30%. Guess I’ve got a lemon!

I saw all the two star ratings and overlooked them all because I saw one 5 star… i am now frustrated because I cannot even create an account because my verification code won’t send no matter which email address I use. Yes I checked junk folders as well..

Been using this app with the Halo WiFi Touchscreen for a month now with no problems. Account, app and WiFi setup went smoothly. Also put the app on my wife’s phone and it works as expected on both our phones. App is easy to navigate and intuitive, similar to other modern apps. Notifications of lock activity works great and it’s easy to turn these on or off. There is a detailed lock history tab in the app which is useful. Proximity auto-unlock works fine. I like the ability to turn on or off the LED color flashing that visually indicates the lock status. Only minor complaint is that the app allows a custom photo for the Home but does not allow a custom photo for the lock on the Lock Settings screen; it just shows a generic house photo.

App logout does not apply password

My only criticism is that the biometric scanner sometimes open other fingers. I’m afraid that a stranger can just open the door with their finger print. There’s got to be a fixed?????

Re-launched with Halo Select. Functionality works great. Can lock and unlock from anywhere, and alerts are immediate. Geofencing a cool new feature.

When creating account it will send code to verified email but when it comes to cell phone it want sent code. I punch in my number again but it still want work. If it still does the same thing tomorrow Monday ask the store to take it back

With all the technology in the world it is amazing how bad this app is. You go to a part of it and then you can’t go back and have to restart app. It’s also not friendly in being easy to understand. A little effort and it could be so much better. I was able to sign up so I give it that but as for the rest of it just really poorly don.
