Latest update isnt working

Whatever happened in the latest update it has stopped working. I can no longer connect to my pcs

Requires Windows Pro

This is definitely not a free service. If you have windows pro great. If not then that’s a costly upgrade.

Confusing name.

This app works really well for accessing a remote desktop.

Why would you name it this?

It’s Remote Desktop. Windows Mobile is the operating system you abandoned, seems like unnecessary confusion. Works fine though.

Legacy systems no longer supported?

Old version worked well with W2k3 now unable to connect error appears!

Meh

Think the name needs a re-think as the name doesn’t really describe what it does. One thing I was hoping to be addressed during the upgrade would be the ability to create groups. There is a default group called ‘Saved Devices’ but no way of creating new groups for better organisation. Only needed to use it for connecting to Hyper-V vms and physical PCs at the moment so can’t comment on the other functionality.

Don’t save passwords!

They need to allow an option to save usernames but NOT passwords. I need the option to enter my password every time (secure corporate connections) but I don’t want to enter my username each time. Seems like a basic option? App otherwise great.

Windows App has broken RDP for me

I used to be able to remote into my work machine on my iPhone, but since this app has changed to the “Windows” app, I just get an error 0x207. The Remote Desktop app on my MacBook is still working fine, so it must be the Windows app at fault.
