Customer service

bondibrummie on

Absolutely disgusting customer service, very unhelpful and trying to resolve a simple issue. I have been using Transferwise/Wise for many years and never had a problem. This company shows it has no interest in helping customers.

Sluggish. Outdated help centre. Can’t be contacted at all for faults. Nowhere to close or delete your account.

Frustrating and unreliable transfer process

Nicole Oros on

Australia

I don’t usually take reviews to complaint about services, but my recent experience with Wise has left me with no other option. I initially I had a great experience using Wise, but my recent transaction has completely shattered my confidence. The other person never receive the money I sent, despite of multiple follow ups. I have been met with confusing respondes, delay, and a lack of accountability. At first, Wise provided conflicting information about the account numbers making it unclear where my money actually went. Then, they mistakenly sent me a transfer receipt for someone else, an alarming breach of trust that make me questions their handling of sensitive financial data. Their system now seems to expect customers to repeatedly follow up rather than provide proactive updates. The most frustrating part, Wise keep asking to the partner bank after 3 weeks. I still waiting for an update.. and no resolutions. Their lack of urgency and transparency in fixing this issue has made the experience stressful and disappointing. Just I want my money back, which was a lot of money.

Rubbish!!

CC Phi on

Australia

I was initially referred to Wise by a friend and decided to try transferring $40 AUD to Hong Kong, which was smooth and easy. However, my second attempt was a silly. They asked me with confusing questions, like asking if the name I provided on the reference was for a vessel, a business, or something else. I wasted time answering their irrelevant questions, giving them a detailed reason for the transfer, only for them to cancel my $1.2k AUD transaction without providing a proper explanation. The whole experience was frustrating, I’ll be closing my account. Never using Wise again.
