WiZ (legacy)

It would be a really good feature if it can be connected to apple home, since i can use siri to turn it off or on, but until theres no apple home in integrations i wont give a 5 star.

The light does not disconnect from Wifi, but is oftentimes disconnected. I cannot rely on the app to control the app. Unfortunately, the wifi remote I bought suddenly stops working and the online store cannot confirm if it has warranty.

Wiz is great I wish I have bought more lightbulbs

When I first purchased mine it worked great but now the colors won't change to what I'm picking

While the new Wiz v2 app is terrible, this version is easy to use and has great features. I dont know why the new version was released when this one is excellent. If Wiz had to switch developers for business reasons, they should be seriously evaluating their investment in the new app, as they are wasting their $$.

Crashing crashing and more crashing

If you have issues with the new app, delete it and install this one. Works flawlessly.

I’m not sure how many years it has been since Phillips purchased Wiz, but it’s clear that prioritizing compatibility and functionality has always been last. Whether it’s shortcuts failing for no reason, a total lack of ability to integrate with the apple “home” app, or a total lack of security for the bulbs on your local network, this app seems great until you discover its numerous years long bugs! Hue app came first and was a way more robust product, and this festering garbage heap still lacks features the first Hue product had for years. I could write an app myself and it wouldn’t have been half this poorly thought out and executed. Terrible. Edit: recently had a power outage, 25 out of the 30 bulbs I have will not reconnect. I am out almost $700 worth of hardware not even counting the cost of labor of trying to reinstall these. It seems like Phillips is trying to set themselves up for class action lawsuit.

I installed Wiz v2. I found out that v2 doesn't have shortcuts integration. Deleted. Installed Wiz legacy and now it crashes at launch. Rubbish!
