Delete V2 and install legacy
If you have issues with the new app, delete it and install this one. Works flawlessly.
Trash app but your only choice for wiz
I’m not sure how many years it has been since Phillips purchased Wiz, but it’s clear that prioritizing compatibility and functionality has always been last. Whether it’s shortcuts failing for no reason, a total lack of ability to integrate with the apple “home” app, or a total lack of security for the bulbs on your local network, this app seems great until you discover its numerous years long bugs! Hue app came first and was a way more robust product, and this festering garbage heap still lacks features the first Hue product had for years. I could write an app myself and it wouldn’t have been half this poorly thought out and executed. Terrible. Edit: recently had a power outage, 25 out of the 30 bulbs I have will not reconnect. I am out almost $700 worth of hardware not even counting the cost of labor of trying to reinstall these. It seems like Phillips is trying to set themselves up for class action lawsuit.
The App just crashing
I installed Wiz v2. I found out that v2 doesn't have shortcuts integration. Deleted. Installed Wiz legacy and now it crashes at launch. Rubbish!
QUIT WITH THE ANNOYING POP-UPS!
V2 app refuses to connect with my bulbs, but no issues using legacy app. Now, every time I open this app, I get pop up notifications telling me to switch apps. Guess I’ll switch bulb brands soon!
Can’t control bulb
They updated app now I can’t control my device because I am not at location. Called Wiz office and they did not try to rectify. Horrible customer service!!!
SUPERIOR to Wiz app V2
This app is great managing my two Wiz uplight bulbs. Far better and far superior to the other one! Just stick with this one indefinitely and do yourselves favors.

And the award for “Most Aggressive App To Strongarm You Into Updating” goes to Wiz! Which still only works some of the time regardless of whether you update or not.
So much better than v2, but new annoying popup
V1 is so much better than v2, and I would have given five stars except for the annoying new popup telling me to switch to v2. No thanks…I’ll find another brand of bulbs instead. Philips…I expect better from you as a brand.
App works great, but…
Stop asking me to switch to a different version of the app every time I open it. I want to use the legacy app.
