Please update the quality of photos on the app! I can’t properly see the detail of people’s photos from hosts and travellers, would just make the quality of the app better since i’m paying to use it yanno!

App very slow but idea and function very nice

Workaway has been a advantage to my travel time although the app always makes trouble :/ that's why I give this app 4 stars instead of 5. hopefully they work on it since I pay money to use workaway.

Great but the app doesn’t work properly

Great concept! But the app has got some defaults, could use an upgrade to make more user friendly

No app for hosts?

Seems to not have an option for hosts to login…a bit disappointed

Easy to Communicate but Display not that nice

Compared to WorldPackers app the display is pretty unappealing, should be higher standards on hosts to post on photos that actually represent what their place looks like. Other than that it’s very handy 👍

hosts profiles on availabilities are inaccurate

Not an issue with the app/website. have spent hours contacting a few hosts but though their profiles indicated that they are available during the particular months, they replied that they are not available. Seems like information are not updated? maybe app developer can consider sending prompts or something to remind them to update availability?

They Control and read all messages you send

They Control and read all the messages. You don't feel like you have privacy. My experience: I am from Australia and I have had two experiences for inside Australia and outside Australia (the US) 1- Once before, I sent a few messages, which were almost similar (I copied them with a slight Change so I could send the message to as many hosts and travel buddies as possible.). Right away, they partially stopped my profile and asked me to stop this, while I wasn't really doing anything wrong!!! Anyway, that didn't work out and I stopped messaging people for a while. 2- recently, I sent messages to only a few hosts saying my brothers and I (family) are interested in working away for a week. Again they emailed me saying you should promote to couple's profile. Single profile is not allowed to message people,..... If this time doesn't work either, then I am wondering why I have paid for the membership in this app! Two efforts zero success! In total. I am not feeling my privacy in this app, and I believe that some limitations in this app reduce your chance of meeting new people (both hosts and travel buddies).

Great concept but disappointing app

Lots of app crashes and freezes far to often. The idea of a workaway app was great but the development has been pretty poor

Can’t wait to start meeting people through workaway but don’t bother with app. It freezes, crashes and there’s no easy way to tell which profile you have already sent messages to (just a “you have already sent a message to this host” on their profile display would be great). Stick to the website, it’s marginally better.

Good community, terrible app

Workaway is an excellent idea and a great experience for travellers wanting to give back to the communities they travel to. However, the app is clunky, not user-friendly and untrustworthy. It often saves information incorrectly. You often have to visit the website and log in again to submit information. It requires a lot of data usage and sometimes crashes.
