The website is absolutely rubbish. I have been trying to access my sits, and it just won’t go there. It is also extremely slow.

App is very aesthetic and easy to use but the search filters are not very useful for sitters, this is not a reflection on the service which is great. It only allows you filter exact dates, which aligns with few listings. Anytime you are looking for a sit you essentially have to scroll through every listing for the location to find dates that work. It would be more helpful if you could search for relative length of stays (weekends/longer stays), similar dates or sits by month. You also get a mix of active listings, those ‘reviewing applications’, and ‘not currently looking for a sit’ - you should be able to filter for just active listings with open dates. I would also like to see more locations in search, I often have to search for a whole city and the suburban area is not included in the listing. That is not close enough to find something that works. All of these search features make browsing in the app time-consuming and unenjoyable.

A very comfortable & clean home to stay in with 4 adorable dogs. It sounds a lot but the dogs are very happy in their ‘pack’ and can easily be left while you go out exploring. They are very easy to take care of in every way and only require one feed a day. The owner Virginie (who speaks perfect English & French) is very accomodating and generous and kept in touch throughout the sit. The next door neighbours are incredibly kind and a great support should it be necessary. You couldn’t ask for an easier sit. My only recommendation would be that future sitters have a car as public transport is a bit limited.

I just finished my first pet-sitting journey, which was fantastic. I’d like to suggest a feature: could there be an indication on a host’s profile if they have previously declined an application? I’ve noticed that even after a host rejects me, I can reapply if I come across the same listing again. However, I feel it’s unreasonable to reapply, and I have a poor memory, so I can’t remember who has rejected me. This means I have to check my mailbox each time before applying to avoid reapplying to the same host. A reminder or notification of previous rejections would be very helpful and convenient.

As a lot of other companies that are being sued unfortunately this app also sets annual auto renewals, they of course don’t mention that other than in the fine print and then charge you and refuse to refund.

I have been with TH for 8 years and love them having been both a sitter and a home owner and predominantly having great experiences. However the App constantly logs out. I go to use it on my iPad and phone and find I am logged out. This has never happened with other Apps so I have no idea why. Incredibly annoying….

This App is so easy to find suitable house sits, even for we technologically challenged persons 😆 All the details are accessible of when, where and what you are minding or not, and any expectations! Security in previous feedback and return sits. Personally I love it, to plan escapes north from my Aussie home cold Winter! And can take my old furbaby with me! Thanks Trusted Housesitters!
