The app is great and largely has everything you would want and need but I just don’t understand why given all the options there isn’t the option to set your shutter speed to 1/48 when your shooting at 24fps to achieve the 180º rule when shooting.
So I did the subscription so I could get all that bla bla bla you advertise and then not a single template don’t have Chinese letters on it? Really? So why am I spending money on a subscription? For what? Returning the gimbal as this is completely useless , also how that heck I can’t remove zy cami watermark after subscribing premium? What a stupid app for a device it was ok never again I want anything from zhyun 👎
Seriously, buying kit then getting stiffed for software is like selling a car and charging you an annual fee for the engine.

Can’t get English on the app and the Bluetooth won’t link the device to my phone. Amazon needs to get its sales people sorted. This is now the third item I will be sending back on the bounce v
I bought a smooth 5 and had a year subscription, but it turns out it charged me even after I registered the card that came with the gimbal
So, you spend £200 for the Smooth 5 combo gimbal and then they want to charge us a yearly subscription to use the app that makes their gimbal work (yes I know I can use Filmic Pro). This is a total rip-off and disgusting business practise. Added to that, the app is pretty rubbish too, go on, try a timelapse - you can’t even change the interval as when you press nothing happens! Diabolical piece of junk that won’t even let us take advantage of HDR Dolby Vision that the 13 Pro Max has! And then there is the nonsense of having to have a separate app for pro mode - seriously? Thank goodness for Filmic Pro. This will stop me buying Zhiyun gimbals or any other product they offer in the future until they sort out their apps and stop trying to milk money out of us. It really is not acceptable.
No verification codes received via any routes and over a week now and no use of app with gimble! Do not use
Writing this review on the day of the 1.2.9 update which supposedly fixes “known issues.” Frame rate selection now results in totally wrong frame rates; if I choose 24fps, it records in 30fps; if I choose 60fps, it records at 40fps. Manual exposure controls can’t seem to get the image bright like it used to be, the focus wheel for Zhiyun’s flagship gimbal still isn’t implemented and the zoom wheel causes the zoom to jump around randomly when I touch it. I found these issues within a couple of minutes of using this ‘update.’ Do these people even test the software they write?
Demands location days and access to all photos...why? There is no need as this is just a gimbal. Serious doubts about the collection of data for what purpose. Requires update then will not update. Would rate this as a zero star if that were possible. However, as it will be ending up in a bin it’s irrelevant. Save your money and avoid this product!
