Amex GBT Mobile

I can’t even open the app. It closes immediately every time I open it.

This is just a pathetic browser wrapped as an app. Sadly nothing syncs between the profile you select and the booking system. Made it all the way to check out and nothing but my name and email transferred. Asked support and they said they manually synced it but no credit card nor any loyalty cards came through. Oh and in this app links to add them at check out is broken. Waste of time.

Amex claims to be best in travel agency, well. Cannot even log in. Useless. Entered work email address then takes you to a page where we cannot enter anything. Just read pages. Useless. Deleted the app. Just call Amex GBT. Lets see how they perform compare to other travel agencies.

Knowing how well Amex does, I would expect a better user experience, particularly with the chat feature. To get an agent, I have no estimate of wait time, agents can’t see my previous responses, and I can’t copy and paste text.

The chat function lags and you don’t see updates from the agent in some cases. But they do manage to bill you even if the chat does not work.

Fresh install of application and it prompts for my email address with no password field. If I press Next after entering email address it tells me my user ID or password is incorrect but it never gave me the chance to enter password. I then try the sign up link thinking maybe I don’t have account and it tells me my account already exists with that email address and I need to change my password with a password change button. Unfortunately, the change password button does not work and I tried this on my iPhone and iPad. So now I am stuck as there is no option to change password or forgot password from login screen.

App is poorly designed. Menus drop out of view and search function is too narrow

When chatting with an agent to change a travel reservation I have to force close and reopen the app for it to display the agents messages. It makes using the chat feature extremely frustrating.

No way to get out of the auto log in screen. Unable to access the app. Web page not any more helpful. Terrible experience.

Very bad experience. Flight was cancelled three times and never ticketed although manager had approved. Agents were not helpful in any way on the call. Flights were also overpriced, more than twice the price shown in google flights.
