On the didi map of Shanghai, the map doesn’t load for most of Shanghai. Everything is just gross, so I can’t see where I am on a real map.

Have tried to use the Express, Premier and Luxe. Never managed to secure any rides, including when requesting rides from Taxis nearby on Express. Meanwhile friends simultaneously using the Chinese version and requesting rides in the same direction have no trouble. The Chinese app has more options, but I think my challenge to secure rides could be because the drivers are not willing to accept rides from passengers who might’ve trouble communicating in Chinese? Anyways, I think this will change with time. Great interface, and looking forward to DiDi addressing this in China and Using DiDi in other parts of the world!

This app worked great. Then it started giving me an error message and quit being able to request rides. The support line made some suggestions, but they didn’t help.

垃圾滴滴，最基本的安全保障都做不到

It does exactly the same thing like the one in Chinese. I don’t give 5 stars simply because some drives don’t use your really location sometimes and calls you to ask where are you even if you don’t understand Chinese.
