It doesnt let me change the language its so frustrating

It may just be my school I’m logging into, but I recently got a new phone number. I changed the two step verification number to match the new one, and it was fine for a few months. Then, I call a help desk to unlock another account through canvas due to “inactivity”, when I wasn’t aware it existed, and lo and behold, my phone number is changed back. I have missed several big assignments due to this mishap, and every time I try to send the code through an email, it sends me back to the login. I CANNOT LOG IN WITHOUT A CODE. Ridiculous! I’ve never had a problem so persistent until I started using this app.

I can no longer view my grades or complete my assignments on the iOS app.

confusing to use

Genuinely how am I supposed to do any work when anything I even TRY to load just resets. Canvas creators I wish nothing good for you.

Whenever I try to access the grade page it freezes up and I have to close out the app and restart it. I have the newest iPhone and everything. Really annoying actually because I will accidentally select the grades when I’m working in it.

Whenever you respond to a discussion post, Canvas will send you a notification every. single. time. there is a new response. This becomes ridiculous when the lecture has 300 people that need to post an initial response as well as a minimum of 2 responses to their classmates. This is the default. As someone who has used Google Classroom/Canvas for nearly a decade and considers myself to be somewhat tech savvy, I cannot find anywhere within the app or discussion board settings to turn these notifications off in the multiple times I have desperately looked. Getting nearly a THOUSAND Canvas notifications for just ONE discussion board drowns out ALL of my other notifications on my phone, including the actually important ones from Canvas.
