Canvas by Instructure

I get over 40 notifications for just one new info inside the app. Moreover I’m getting signed out every 2/3 days.

The app became broken since the last few months. It constantly logs me out and each time I sign back in when I get extra notification every time there is one. So it looks like the app is keeping the previous sessions in memory and generates notifications for them. Basically each time you get logged out and log in again you’re gonna get n+1 notifications which is frustrating.

I try to login on my smartphone via qr code since days and its not working :(

Each time i open the app i have to re-login and for login the apps directs me to safari and cant log in through app at all..!

It may just be my school I’m logging into, but I recently got a new phone number. I changed the two step verification number to match the new one, and it was fine for a few months. Then, I call a help desk to unlock another account through canvas due to “inactivity”, when I wasn’t aware it existed, and lo and behold, my phone number is changed back. I have missed several big assignments due to this mishap, and every time I try to send the code through an email, it sends me back to the login. I CANNOT LOG IN WITHOUT A CODE. Ridiculous! I’ve never had a problem so persistent until I started using this app.

I can no longer view my grades or complete my assignments on the iOS app.

confusing to use

Genuinely how am I supposed to do any work when anything I even TRY to load just resets. Canvas creators I wish nothing good for you.

Whenever I try to access the grade page it freezes up and I have to close out the app and restart it. I have the newest iPhone and everything. Really annoying actually because I will accidentally select the grades when I’m working in it.
