Canvas by Instructure

Uni uses this site but my major issue is that you can ‘t have multiple files open at the same time like you can with apps like good notes. It makes it really hard to bounce between slides and practice problems without a computer .

Hi Canvas Team, I am writing this to request a new feature for Canvas. Most of the time lecturers put down a list of weekly Tasks on Canvas. And was wondering if it can be changed to have a tick box that student then can tick or untick just for themselves I had to copy and paste every single list of task from different courses each week from Canvas (web or the app) onto my Task manager such as Apple Reminders App. It would be nice to just have that tick boxes built in on Canvas for student to use the idea is that Lecturers will write down the tasks that they think should be done And then students can see them and use tick boxes inside Canvas directly to mark if an item has been completed, students wont be able to create new tasks on their own Thank you, Dan

Why in the world would you update the grades section so my grade for each course is big and bold for the whole world to see? App also crashes constantly but this is more forgivable than the above.

i believe that universities use this app purposefully to make your life harder. Ultimately used to make completing your studies as hard as possible. the layout is a mess, nothing is consistent whatsoever. I wouldn’t be surprised if the app is a primary school kids project running in the basement.

PLEASE ADD TIMETABLES IN!!!!

Literally one of the best apps out there for university students, so helpful and awesome

I’m not alway able to access my course when logging on to Canvas or aspire2 web site. Hopes via my phone will be a simpler way to study the course I’m on.

Even after tapping on a notification or going into the app to action, notification badges don’t dismiss.

Always lagging can never get into some categories like groups it freezes then shuts down no matter what I do. App is delayed with linking emails can’t even open them. No point in the app really when it is not functional ! Better to just go through the web. The app is useless !!
