Dear Synology, maybe it's time to update DS Video thoroughly - after more than 2 years - don't you think? Little to no support for 4k, HD and MP4 videos, among others. Extremely disappointing.

Mkv speelt af maar het beeld wordt vierkant. Ook is er geen ondersteuning voor ondertitels te selecteren die in het mkv bestand zitten. Als je een video pauzeert op de Apple TV en je duwt terug op play gebeurt er niets. Je moet terug gaan en daarna opnieuw afspelen. Doorspoelen en terugspoelen werkt ook niet soepel.

Please add autoplay next video and the possibility to alter the speed of the videos, like in video station. Also, saving the settings for folder view would be nice, instead of changing this every time.

DS Video is unable to play H265 video (be it 4k or smaller) though it has been an Apple standard for years. Converting my movies is a hassle I am not willing to take. On the whole I do like the interface and the information that DS Video downloads for the different movies and tv shows I converted from dvd; though it sometimes makes very strange mistakes. It just feels like a program that is far from complete.

Franchement application nickel et très flexible. Si il y a problème, il y a forcément une solution et ça j’adore. Continuez comme ça.

bonjour à vous, je n’ai jamais vus une application qui n’arrive à lire que 10% des vidéo ? , et oui j’ai installé VLC surs tout les lecteurs, et rien ni fait ils y à toujours que 10% qu’ils arrive ? , et puis , les pochettes des fils , toutes les pochettes de films ne correspond pas ? , sait lamentable et honteux de la part de synology de léser les applications à la bandons ? , vous ne remarques pas que toutes les applications de synology n’ont pas vraiment de vrais mises à jour ? .

You can easily find/launch the movies but you aren’t able to look for the corresponding subtitles

stil can't see any subtitles on my apple tv, everything is up to date. subtitle visible when I play it online.

De app voldoet niet aan mijn verwachtingen. Speelt volgens mij geen full hd af, kwaliteit van de afgespeelde film trekt op niet veel. Speel ik dezelfde film af met Kodi, is het beeld 100 keer beter. Ook geen ondersteuning voor DTS.
