Ember - Control de Temperatura

I have to log in every other time I use the app, which is annoying. Also, my mug keeps shutting itself off after I set a temperature. It will tell me it’s empty even when it’s full. I don’t know what changed, but it used to work a lot better.

I LOVE the mugs (just bought my third, the winter blue, so pretty!) but the software needs major help. I had one mug paired with custom settings. A year later added a 2nd mug when visiting my daughter. Both those mugs were wiped from my account after a few weeks. Had to create a new account more than once and re-pair the mugs. Now I paired the new mug yesterday. Today there is no sign of me ever having Ember mugs before or an account. Frustrating!

My girlfriend got me this mug for Christmas and I really wasn’t sure about it at all. That is, until I tried it. The mug is excellent, and the app works very well and can change the temperature of my coffee 1° at a time. Edit 12/24: Latest version of the app either crashes or doesn’t initiate. Then, it asked you to create a new account each time. Definitely not what it was before-disappointing.

Terrible!! Continuously connects and disconnects from the Ming, now the mug is useless.

I like the layout of the updated app. I’ve been asking for the battery level to go on the main screen for years, so that’s nice. And I really like that there is now an on/off button (although it always defaults to 135 when you turn it on, rather than whatever temp I last had it). But it is now very glitchy. It gets really confused about whether there is coffee in my cup and whether the heater should be on or not. It takes forever to figure it out, and often gets it wrong so you have to manually turn it on — and even then, sometimes you think you’re turning it on but actually turning it off because the interface is going crazy. Sometimes I’ll pour an afternoon cup and then when I go to take a sip a few minutes later it will be too cold because the heater decided to just turn off. So…going in the right direction on features but the wrong way on functionality.

You must create an account and log in with it to view your mug and it uses a magic email link. The app makes me log in every time I open it. It’s ridiculous. Why?! I just want to put hot liquid in my mouth hole.

I’ve had my Ember mug for several years now, but since the new software update, it is no longer usable. I’ve reached out to their tech-support and been totally ignored. I certainly can’t recommend this product any longer.

Every time I open the app it’s logged me out and requires me to log in again.

Absolutely useless now. 1. Won't connect with the mug anymore 2. app now Asks for too much personal info. 3. Charging Custer pin breaks often.

Surprisingly glitchy UI for such a simple task of setting the temperature. I click on a preset and it doesn’t set it. I adjust using the slider, and the number doesn’t update. Overall, glad for the app’s existence and it looks nice. Just odd that it doesn’t work seamlessly.
