ExpressVPN: Fast & Secure VPN

This VPN always disconnects when I connect to Canada I contacted them but nothing changed. I cancelled my subscription, they renewed it even though I cancelled it and now they won’t give me my money back…even worse they don’t reply to me. They charged me for 2 years on my credit card! And I had cancelled my subscription! And now now I am being ghosted. Express VPN was a bad choice , don’t make the same mistake I made. Go for another VPN!

On Jan 2025, it doesn’t work in mainland

Easy to set up and use on a tv but cannot get it to work with my tv app on my iPad. Still shows my current location no matter what vpn I connect to in Canada. As a result cannot use my tv provider app outside of Canada

After last update, can't connect to internet. Will revise review and rating when problem is resolved. Chat bots on websites are useless.

While I understand that auto-renewal is a choice, it is often pre-selected during online transactions. At the very least, I would expect an email notifying me of an upcoming charge or a receipt on the day the charge is processed. Unfortunately, I did not receive any notification (I checked my junk mail thoroughly), and I only discovered the charge when reviewing my credit card statement. I find this practice somewhat underhanded. While I think the product itself is excellent, I do not appreciate this kind of opaque corporate behavior. Although I was informed that my subscription would be canceled and I would receive a reimbursement as a one-time courtesy, I was also told I was outside the 30-day reimbursement window. However, I was charged on January 5th for an annual subscription, and today is only January 13th—just one week later.

First time I used this app (last year) it worked great. This time it won’t even killer me log on. Getting your money back is a pain BTW.

After installing the app I started having issues with some of my email accounts. Took awhile to realize it was my ExpressVPN. After signing out, all issues with this VPN was resolved.

Difficult to find

Sometimes have to delete configuration and reload app or you remain disconnected from wifi.

This VPN app is a scam. It doesn’t work, and the customer service is repetitive and unwilling to solve issues. Their website clearly states they offer a full refund within 30 days if you’re not satisfied, but when I contacted them, they only offered a partial refund of my latest payment. This is completely different from what their policy says. Avoid this app—they do not honor their own promises.
