Appen ljuger.
Appen ljuger rakt ut om att jag "inte är kopplad till Wi-Fi" medan jag är kopplad till Wi-Fi, samtidigt som den antyder att det faktum att jag har internet via mobildata betyder att jag inte samtidigt är kopplad till Wi-Fi... 🤦♂️ Vi har att göra med amatörer.
Jag kan bara dra slutsatsen att utvecklarna a) inte har grundläggande kunskaper om nätverk, b) inte kan plattformen de utvecklar för (iOS), samt – eftersom det enda de kunde göra när man rapporterar buggen var att säga ungefär "testa åt oss, för vi kan inte besvära oss att testa själva – annars kan vi kan inte hjälpa dig" (hjälpa mig..? ...patetiskt) – c) de vet inte hur man tar emot felrapporter och felsöker. De enda som behöver hjälp är utvecklarna själva, men den hjälpen har de alltså avböjt 😄
Högst avskräckande inkompetens. Jag väljer hellre en lösning från professionella utvecklare.
Doesn’t seem to work
Tried it but seems the app does not work. Unsure if it’s something from latest version or my device. Pressing to refresh the list does nothing and does not seem to analyze the current network at all. Double check permissions were correct; any idea? Is the app supposed to work at all on device? Thanks!

All this app does is standard networking (sometimes less), I can’t honestly see why it should cost anything?
And with subscription you get nothing more than you can do with free apps or free services.
Scam
Köpte en fingbox med bra funktioner, efter något år gör man en “bait and switch”.
Nu är dessa funktioner låsta bakom en subscription på 749kr/år! 😱 Håll er borta, långt borta… ge aldrig detta företaget ens en krona, nästa gång är det du som blir lurad.

After last update, the app crashes after a few seconds.

Before that I really appreciate the features
Helt ok…
…, och jag gillar att det finns en community inom ramen för applikationen, dvs massor att lära! Hade velat förstå så mycket mer, men visst går att få kunskap om via communityn. Basis som olika devices och portar, hur man övergripande kan lokalisera visst osv. Misstänker att i den digitala världen sker otroligt mycket ”under radarn” som gemene man inte känner till. Vi är som individer mycket sårbara i denna sfär.
Nothing like it used to be.
Sadly Fing doesn’t deliver any more. I have routers from 2003 that have software with more featuresand performance than Fing have these days.
It used to be my go to network tool to keep track of the status of my network. Not any more.
