Flighty – Live Flight Tracker

Great app but add localization please, I can’t share my flights with relatives who don’t speak any English

Let me start by saying this is one of the best deisgned and intuitive UX apps I have had chance to use. They really nailed the experience both from the import side, to the count downs and integration into iOS. Only thing I would like to see is a configurable reminder to get to airport set amount of hours before the flight. But the rest they nailed. Unfortunately, similar to the other reviews, out of 4 flights, only one had correct data and delivered on time. Two filghts never got any gate info or had wrong gate data even after flight drparted (I assume from previous flights of same flight number as the specific gate number never was shown anywhere on airport). Also delay of flight got reported after 30 minutes of gate not opening even though it showed on monitors immediately. Maybe it works good for America, but for Europe whatever is their data source is just widely unreliable and wrong. If price was low, I would consider forgiving it and just using it in general as reminder for flights and to track upcoming trips, however with current pricing and issues I just can’t recommend it to anyone. I really wanted to love it as design wise app is just beautiful.

Never got any gate/baggage claim updates in Thailand,even when connected to internet,5+ flights,gates stood at blank and even flight times where off by 20+ minutes,canceled subscription right now.

Update: The Watch complication doesn't work! This was an essential feature, as I can see the time remaining till landing and don't have to set a timer, all on my watch. Now it shows Get Started and I have to tap on it to see the flight details. The complication still looks the same in settings, just doesn't work! I tried restarting both watch and phone, removing it, uninstalliing the app from the watch, nothing helps. On the other hand, I loooove the new delay features!!! I'm a flight attendant and I initially got this app for its cute design, to brag about how many times I flew around Earth in a year. But I quickly learned it's so much than that. Now it's one of my mostly used app and it makes my flight attendant life much easier. I'm able to receive all sorts of notifications, from inbound flight info, to gate changes and delays. What I really enjoy is a lock screen widget that shows remaining flight time. No more timer setting, just to forget to start it. And a bonus notification when you have 1 hour till landing. And there's an Apple Watch widget for it as well! The subscription fee is well worth it. Great job!!!

This is a great app. Simple to use, reliable, and practical.

Really lovely app, but wow the pro subscription upsells are annoying. Like Jesus tap dancing Christ why does the upsell have to appear every single time the app cold boots? It's purely friction given that I never under any circumstances intend to pay for this app because I simply do not fly enough. It's not like an ad since ad. We are at least making some money from showing it. This is just pure harassment and the nets you absolutely nothing and makes me resent the app, please rethink this!

You know those mobile games that are mostly just ads? That’s what Flighty has become. The negative reviews over the past week are, unfortunately, accurate. Incredibly disappointing. Learned my lesson, I’m not updating apps any more. And they took away dark mode within the app! (Unless your system is in dark mode) They also took away gate information for the free version.

Totally worth it if you’re flying more than a few times a year. Well designed. Visually appealing. Good info that is useful for tactical planning. Fun stats if you’re a travel nerd.

I’ve been using this app for about 5 months now. I am a flight attendant & recently have been able to keep track of all my flights via flighty this since July I input my flights & no update. I have flown 80 trips since then and it is still stuck at 59 trips. Is this where it stops calculating them? I pay for annual pass. I worked a flight today , added my info & once the flight ended all the trip information is gone? How can I fix this issue Other than that I love the app .
