I tend to use the on-line application rather than the app. The graphical display on the app uses very indistinct colours compared to those in the on line version. Certain links appear not to work (eg feedback screen does not offer the ability to send feedback but merely covers FAQs. The chatbot button on the feedback page does not work. The menu item about viewing the running information of the plant (which I tried to access to see if I could change the colours on the graph display) goes to a “not found” message. However even the on-line version shows inconsistent data such as: Reducing total grid consumption as the day progresses Anomalous readings showing the battery feeding the grid PV consumption showing in totals but not showing on the graph (and I don’t have PV directly connected to the inverter as my system combines hydro-generation and solar via the grid connection).

With the new version, users can’t zoom in on the graph anymore. The graph is quite small, and with 5 different colours can be difficult to read. The ability to zoom in was helpful, but now that is gone.

The user interface for this was clearly designed by people that do not use or have not actually used the app to manage a system. Rudimentary at best. Difficult to use at worst. Not intuitive on any level. Someone at Huawei REALLY needs to engage with a proper user interface design company or at minimum, someone who has actually used the app and understands how a user uses it in service.

Great user interface and also great for configuration as an installer I can’t recommended this system weather your installing on grid of off grid which most inverters aren’t capable or weren’t capable if you can’t understand how to set up the inverters to liking of your clients you shouldn’t be installing them.

Both are not that brilliant Many updates but little changes until recently when they’ve altered the graphics on the app. That said PV now not saving in historical data.

Latest Feb 23 update has removed the ability to expand the x axis in the Statistics views for the charts. This was really useful but now is no more. The chart plots now use a very narrow line which is much harder to read. When the chart is rotated from portrait to landscape the graph disappears below the x axis and the axis labelling is very faint. A definite step backward for not a lot of gain!

I too had the system installed but the app is crap. I have spent over an hour trying to log on. Tried everything with the installer even his log in and that doesn’t work. But works on his. I even changed to chrome as advised.

Had a power cut Sever weeks ago. The system is working ok but still got the warning on the app and can’t get rid of it. What can I do?

The energy management figures (for yield and consumption) are garbage; every time you visit the screen they are different (with the total PV yield in a day often DECREASING as the day goes on!), and frequently giving different figures if you go back to the history a day later. Also the grid / battery / load figures on the diagram view often don’t add up either. Can’t trust the numbers at all …

I have been using this app for around 8 weeks with all sorts of bugs apparent, screens wrongly formatted (if they displayed at all) missing data graphics and more then, yesterday came an update. All of the issues I experienced are cleared up and the app has become far more useful and the information available and clear. Configuration is an area I’ve not re-explored but I will do so in the next few days and hopefully it will allow that missing star to be added. A significant improvement so hopefully I will soon be able to check, on one screen, the status of all of the optimisers at once without have to select one at a time & refresh the screen for each.
