Great app but more tracking would be helpful!
I’ve been using this app for 6 weeks now and it’s pretty great. It provides balanced workouts for your goals and the videos are useful. It would be really helpful if there was a note or log section that allows you to enter and track the weights you’re using and reps you’re completing each week. That way you can more easily track and progress over the weeks. I’ve been using an additional app to do this but I think it could be easily integrated into this platform.
Great potential
I really like the recipes on this app; they seem well thought out and delicious. However, the workouts need improvement. Firstly, I wish I didn't have to click on the icon to learn how to do each workout or to include my weights. Additionally, some exercises are cut off and don’t show the full form because the view doesn’t capture the entire body.
Regarding the Transform program, it seems to repeat the same workouts every week. This is surprising given the variety of exercises available on the app. While I don't mind some repetition, most apps I've used offer a variety of exercises each week for at least 2-3 weeks before repeating. There are also no alternative exercises for people who don't have access to top-tier gym equipment, such as Hack squats.
Overall, while the app is off to a good start, there is still a long way to go in terms of improving the workout experience.
Absolutely LOVING this app
I have been using this app for about 7 months now and am absolutely loving it! The workouts have been making me feel so strong and confident both in and outside of the gym, and the meal recipes have literally ignited a love of cooking I never knew I had. I would highly recommend this app to EVERYONE- life. changing. Keep up the good work Sophie & team 👏🏼🫶
Glitchy
App needs a lot of work. I’m on IOS and my workout days change depending on what time of day I look at the app, I need to refresh my program and cancel just to see my current program schedule load. It logged me out and I lost all my progress (about 10 weeks). The workouts are good but the app is poorly made
Almost there
The good: easy, great price, can follow while I’m doing my workout, I really feel the workouts and appreciate all the work that has gone into these programs.
The meh: I’ve had to restart and adjust my program because the number of days are not adjustable. There is constant glitching of the week starting on sunday instead of monday. Would appreciate notes of form somewhere within the app.
Needs improvement
I love Sophie’s YouTube and her workouts she puts out and have been following it for years. I’ve even bought a couple of her programs which I loved. I think this app could be great but so many improvements need to be done to it before I would re purchase. I’ve changed the program I was working on went from 5 days a week to 3 in my profile it shows my new program and my days I would like to work out but on my home page it shows my old program and still 5 days a week. Before this I had my weeks set from Monday to Friday but my home page always started on Sunday. I get that this app is new and there will be glitches and a couple things I had a problem with when I first got the app have been fixed but improvements are still needed and I think the price is just to high for what we’re getting at this moment.
Ideas:
• Navigation improvements: when going from workout page to weight history it goes back to work out list instead of back to the workout you are on
• different warm up and cool downs.
• have a workout detail on how to perform the moves properly and what area its targeting
• have timer going for timed activities
Good workouts but too many glitches
The app needs work. My workout days and schedule keep changing every week and you can’t see the position of the feet properly. There is also no alternative movements in case you cannot do that exercise for whatever reason. You cannot also return to a workout if you click next by accident as there is no return button. And I wrote all this without seeing what I wrote because the review is in white ink.
Needs a lot of work
The app crashes constantly and you can’t superset any exercises it just takes you back to the beginning. A 45 min workout is way longer with the rests and unable to superset. When you log the exercise it also takes you back to the beginning. Glad I could keep it open long enough to cancel
App keeps crashing
I am super excited about this app! The interface is beautiful, it seems easy to navigate, the exercises are clear and I love the food/recipes feature.
My only issue is that unfortunately the app keeps crashing on me. I can temporarily fix it by opening and manually closing the app quickly before it has time to crash again, but this only works briefly and I do not think I’d even be able to make it through half a workout without this issue coming up.
Please let me know if there is anything I can do to fix this on my end or when it might be fixed in an update. I really can’t wait to use the app!
It just doesn’t work
Love Sophie and I was so excited for her app and I love her programs, but the app isn’t working.
I’ve emailed support because I constantly get error messages when opening my program, when it finally does load my program is just gone, and you cant record any data anywhere. Unfortunately the support staff don’t really help, just tell me to wait for the update. Which I have done and it’s still not working.
