I’m so glad I discovered this app. I love the daily sessions organized for you and the calming meditations. I used it daily and I honestly believe it helped me have my dream home birth! Thanks GentleBirth ♥️
I have found a lot of use out of this app
I have been using the GentleBirth App since 18 weeks and it is so informative, settling and empowering. I look forward to my daily practice and am already excited about the GentleBirth of our baby
I completed my Hypnobirthing class around 8 weeks ago. I continued practicing what I had learnt for a couple of weeks then it got less and less... I was only given two audio files and didn’t fully resonate with one so it felt very repetitive and kind of hard to get into every day. Straight away after listening to the first welcome audio on this app I already felt so relaxed and knew this was exactly what I needed, after a few sessions I have already found I can go much deeper into my mind and the relaxation I feel is already so much better. I love that this app gives you daily tasks and soo many options to flick through and listen to, so handy that you can go ahead and favourite them to keep them all in one place to. I can’t wait to see how much my my hypnotic state improves in the next few weeks before my bub arrives! This app even has postnatal covered as well so I’m also looking forward to that. Get this App and practice practice practice, you won’t be disappointed!!! 🥰
Thanks to GentleBirth I went into the 3rd and 4th trimesters so calm and collected. I welcomed my first baby, Arlo, into the world after a 6.5 hour labour and delivery. GentleBirth helped me rid any fair and anxiousness surrounding birth. I went into birth knowing anything and everything that could arise and felt so prepared just due to the course and the app. I believe that the main contributor to my Birth being so perfect was this app.
I listened to this app nearly every day from about four months pregnant until birth at 41 weeks. Surprisingly enough I didn’t listen to it at all during my labour (although I listened to the labour companion track extensively during my prodromal labour in the weeks leading up to birth). I think the reason was I didn’t need to- all the positive affirmations and the positive mindset was firmly lodged in my brain and got me through the birth of my first baby at home in a beautiful, calm, love filled experience over the course of a 32hr labour. I am still enjoying the app now as we’re going through the fourth trimester. I think my daughter recognises the music on the tracks from when I listened to them everyday whilst pregnant because as soon as I start listening to them now she goes to sleep 😂
My first pregnancy I had a lot of fear. I knew with this pregnancy I wanted something different. The entire approach of each day focusing and training my brain has already made this pregnancy so much more relaxing.
This app is just what I needed to prepare my mind and heart for the arrival of my baby. I would recommend it to anyone, and specially if you are anxious or afraid of childbirth. Pregnancy brings a lot of uncertainties and things you can’t control. This app will help you navigate them. It will help you get into a more positive and calm mood.
The app was confusing and not very user friendly for me, and even though I paid the monthly subscription it seemed like there were still things I needed to pay for or “unlock.” I didn’t have time or the patience for that. BUT that being said I did use this app and the 9 minute “GentleBirth Affirmation” download. (This was the only thing I used.) I found it helpful to listen to in the third trimester of both my pregnancies and even found myself repeating these affirmations during labor. Would I use it again? Yes, probably because now it’s a mental thing for me. Could I find something similar for free? Probably- but again, so I have the time or patience?
